Repaving Scheduled to Begin Monday, Feb. 7
On Monday, Feb. 7, the contractor will begin re-paving streets that were disturbed during construction of the Brentwood Water and Wastewater Renewal Project. The repaving is expected to take about 8 days to complete. Crews will work over the weekend on Feb. 12 and 13. Work hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The contractor plans to begin on Arroyo Seco and Goodnight and continue the repaving on Arroyo Seco and Brentwood, Brentwood and Woodrow, Brentwood and Grover, Karen and Arcadia, followed by Arcardia, Alguno and Alegria. The schedule and sequence could change due to weather or unforeseen issues.
The contractor will use a mill and overlay method for re-paving. You will be able to drive on the street after the paving is completed.
To help facilitate this work, please do not park your cars on the street when repaving is occurring on your street. Notices will be passed out or left on your front door before repaving occurs. Any cars not removed will be towed around the block. Access to driveways will be temporarily blocked while repaving is being done in front of your home. Please consider parking your car on an adjacent street if you need to leave during the repaving. Crews will help neighbors get in and out of driveways during the work.
