Validation Stories from Parents Just Like Us:
Lynday Ayling's validation with her daughter, Jessica, through Lisa Wilcoxson & Becky Hesseltine
Jessica Harvey/Lisa Wilcoxson/Becky Hesseltine/Jessica and Lynda Ayling

I can't begin to tell you how it felt to hear Lisa Wilcoxson describe my daughter on February 1st!  As soon as she said "flower child" I knew it was her. I call her my wild child (Enya's "Wildchild" was part of the music in her wedding video) but flower child also describes her to a T.  She was a hippie born too late!  Janis Joplin...she sang with her friend's band in college and also joined a band at a friend's backyard party, to belt out "Me and Bobby McGee", as good as Janis!

Lisa referenced a sister, not by blood, but very close.  At the time, it did not resonate but later, I remembered that she had a close relationship with her sister-in-law who's name is Sue.  I didn't think of her until much later because their friendship ended badly when divorce came into play.

Lastly, Lisa mentioned a piece of jewelry.  I was holding a necklace that my daughter-in-law and son gave me for Christmas the year she passed.  It is a sunflower (!) that opens to reveal a photo of my sweet girl!

I could go on to connect much of what you had to say as well, but I will end with this...Her head was definitely in the clouds and I always look up and see hearts and angel wings over my house!

I am attaching a photo of my flower child. NOTE THE EARRINGS! 😊

Also, on January 6, Becky Hesseltine was also drawn to me! I was really caught off guard but almost everything she spoke resonated! The things she said were not exact but definitely hit home and upon reflection, made sense.  I could absolutely feel messages from Jessica; especially how I was doing her nails! And as for the concerts, I can't count how many we went to (including 4 New Kids on The Block).

I am attaching another photo of us to show you how Becky was right; everyone said we looked like sisters! I can't tell you how much HPH has helped me on this journey.

Thank you so  much!
Lynda Ayling

Justine Chadly's validation from her son Damani through Pauline Mason
Damani Elijah Chadly/Pauline Mason

I had a busy day planned preparing for our sentencing hearing on Friday. Just this morning I was notified it was postponed. This gave me an extra few hours so I sat down at the computer. I haven't been on facebook much lately AND I also usually attend all medium readings hosted by HPH, but didn't see this one coming up so I hadn't been aware of it! I sat down at 11:58 and although I usually check my email first thing, I logged into facebook and immediately went to the HPH group. At that point I saw that a reading with Pauline would be starting in 2 minutes! How did I miss that? I couldn't believe it! I looked up at my son's picture and asked him to please come through because it's been awhile since I've felt him near. He has suggested previously in private readings that he doesn't want to take group reading time from other parents because he and I connect with private readings regularly. But the past year I have struggled to feel him near or receive messages from him. Pauline's first reading of the call was him! All within 5 minutes, I checked fb, checked the group, joined zoom, and he came through with messages about the upcoming sentencing and that although I doubt often, he is ALWAYS with me.

With gratitude,
~Justine Chadly

Jane Butterworth's Validation from her daughter Alice from Pauline Mason
Alice Butterworth, Tibby's Memorial, Pauline Mason

Pauline's reading was spot on!  Pretty much everything she said was describing my daughter Alice (who passed from cancer at age 17) to a tee. Spirited, very strong-willed, funny and so loved by her friends as she loves them.

Some highlights:
A blood test led to her diagnosis.  Also, Alice became severely anemic during her last few months.
Her legs gave out and became paralyzed about 8 weeks before she passed.
Tomboy as young child, while not particularly sporty, Alice had an intense interest in dinosaurs, space, Calvin and Hobbes, video games and Pokemon which mostly aligned with the interests of her male friends.

And last but not least, the clincher!  Sadly, one of our cats (Tibby) died five weeks prior to Alice's passing.  As Alice was bedridden at the time--she did not see where we buried Tibby in the garden in the backyard.  I had gathered some garden ornaments as well as a mosaic disk Alice had made years ago and placed them on top of the grave.  After the reading I realized an additional significant fact.  We are in the process of having an urn custom made that came from a memorial image in one of Alice's favorite video games--the image is of a cat sleeping.

Thank you,
~Jane Butterworth

Lindsay Taylor's Validation from her son Alex
Alex's Signs, Alex Taylor

I feel compelled to share a story after getting through this year and the first holidays without Alex. Just a heads up this might be triggering or “too out there” for some. For us it’s been truly remarkable.
I’ve mentioned before, there is a significance with a rainbow and Alex's passing. Long story short, I basically by happen chance stumbled into seeing a psychic/medium 3 days prior to Alex's passing. The appointment also happened to be scheduled 3 days after I lost a student I worked with and was close to at the high school to suicide (side note- this is something I haven’t really talked about but I lost my student and son exactly a week apart in May). I couldn’t believe the timing of the appointment as that next week would unfold.
Fast forward to the appointment, one of the many mind blowing things the medium said to me was “what’s the deal with a rainbow”? I said “I don’t know”. He said “what does a rainbow mean to you”. I said “hope”. He said “ok there’s something with a rainbow just pay attention to that”. Mind you this was after he had already made a comment about another potential passing and it freaked me out because I immediately thought of Alex knowing the situation we were in.
Fast forward 3 days later, we get the call from the hospital that Alex was there with no pulse. I couldn’t believe it. Before I tell this next part I think it’s important to mention I was not totally sure about the whole medium thing and Matt was a definite skeptic, but he heard what was said as I recorded my appointment and even he was touched by what would transpire.
Alex ended up being airlifted to Phoenix Children's hospital. As we were sitting in the waiting room at PCH waiting to get back to Alex's ICU room, exhausted, heartbroken and in shock, out of the blue Matt said “look up at the window” in a tone I can’t describe. It sort of scared me at first the way he said it. I proceeded to look up and it said #lookfortherainbow. Instant chills followed.
Fast forward to the next night after Alex passed away Matt went to tuck Austin into bed and as he pulled back Austin’s covers he saw a little piece of paper laying in the bed that said  “rainbow”. Matt in disbelief asked Austin where that paper came from. Austin, confused and having no clue the significance said, “I don’t know, I think Arie was writing her colors awhile ago”. Somehow that one piece of paper that said “rainbow” from something Arie had done awhile back ended up in Austin's bed that night.
Since then the only other times we have seen a rainbow this year were all times that had significance.
- We attended Alex's high school graduation a couple weeks after losing him and when I went to pick up his cap and gown the next day I pulled into the parking spot at his school and the car I happened to park next to had a rainbow sticker on the back window.
- The night before Alex's 18th birthday Matt and Arie saw a rainbow.
- On thanksgiving I was missing Alex, looking through pictures reminiscing, and I happened to come across a picture we took in vail last year that somehow I missed and had never seen before, that had what looked like a rainbow ring around us.
- Christmas Eve, a day our hearts were  especially aching for Alex, we got a gift from him. Right before we were headed to church we saw this rainbow out our window (top picture).
We see you Buddy. Thank you for the rainbows when we needed them the most this year. Thank you for the hope. I know without a doubt your spirit is with us every day and you have made sure we know you are there when we are especially hurting and missing you. We love you and miss you more than words can express. ❤️

Thank you,
~Lindsay Taylor

Rick Wilcoxson's validation during a meeting of Helping Fathers Heal
Clockwise: Rick Wilcoxson with Anthony and Lisa at a Cardinal's Game/Lisa, Anthony and Rick/Melancholy in Buffalo/Rick and Lisa and a Buffalo Fountain in Indianapolis/Rick and a Buffalo friend in Nashville, Melancholy in Buffalo

Helping Father's Heal - Navigating Signs
I recently attended a Zoom meeting for fathers who have lost their children. I have been a member of Helping Fathers Heal for quite a while, a member of Helping Parents Heal for longer, and a qualified member for a very long time.
I do not attend meetings regularly but I participate when I can. I go for my own healing and to offer help to those newer to the journey, on the roughest part, the beginning of the path.
I am generally content to sit in the back of the room, or remain on mute, and listen. As usual, the “silver backs”/long timers talked and laughed, as they shared stories and joked with friends before the meeting, like most social groups I know. I think this sometimes makes it challenging for the newcomers to enter a new group, but the camaraderie helps entice them so they want to be a part.
After the formal meeting started, topics bounced around with dads sharing their experiences and uplifting each other. One recurring topic was “signs” from our children.
Familiar voices were sharing about various signs including lady bugs and feathers, and even vivid dreams, in which one man felt the caress of his child, drawing tears from the speaker and audience.
A couple newer members lamented that they wanted, but hadn’t received any signs. Expressions of envy and longing seemed to add to their grief. It was suggested that they ask their child for a sign.
One speaker presented a chalice with several dimes in it. He explained that he had picked up nearly forty dimes randomly lying around his house over the past couple years, never nickels or quarters. Now he recognizes these as signs from his son.
Another gentleman described his wife’s repeatedly finding small pieces of polished broken glass on the beach, proclaiming them as her sign from her son. He questioned this because he didn’t see a connection to his son and the glass.
After several more stories, I was compelled to chime in with my own perspective to encourage the new men.
“I think it’s most important to simply be open to signs. When we lose someone, if you’re like me, I questioned everything I thought I knew. I had to re-learn many things but recognizing signs was like learning a new language. It would be easy to miss a sign and sometimes we don’t recognize them until hindsight makes them clear.”
“I doubt the first dime or glass chard or two were recognized as signs but the pattern and associated feeling changed that.”
“Similarly, I had told a story about my son and Buffalo. Friends began telling us that they had seen some reference to a buffalo and they would call to tell us it made them think of Anthony. The buffalo has become one of our strongest signs for him. It’s more than a thought too, it inspires a feeling or emotion. Repetition pronounced this sign for us too.”
The conversation returned to a guy seeking his first signs. He described an emotional connection to photos of the sculpture “Melancholy”— the bronze abstract sitting man, elbows on knees with bowed head, and a void where his torso should be. Our speaker longed to connect with his son, so he flew to Geneva to spend time with this sculpture and have a conversation with his deceased son. He was disappointed to find the sculpture had been purchased and relocated to a private collection. Upon his return, frustrated, he asked his wife “What kind of sign could THAT be?”
The group conversation moved on and a short while later another gentleman entered the discussion saying “I have something for you Rick. I just did an internet search for that sculpture.” I presumed he had confused our names because another guy had the art connection. He continued “I searched ‘Melancholy’ and it’s there, in Canada on the site ‘
totallybuffalo.com’.”
“Buffalo” re-engaged my complete attention. I hadn’t focused fully on the website thinking his story was for someone else, but suddenly, I knew that he hadn’t confused the names. It was a sign for me and hopefully, validation for everyone in the group.
I thanked him for the message and declared I needed to share it with my wife. I also offered my own interpretation of the message of the missing sculpture. “Perhaps your son’s message is that— you don’t need to travel to talk with me—.”
After the meeting, I eagerly shared the story with my wife. She got goosebumps too. We searched the internet for the sculpture and indeed, there it was under “totally buffalo” and the page’s heading is “Celebrating Buffalo Together. #TotallyBuffalo.” This is what we have been doing for years, since Anthony passed.
Of course this made us both smile and clutch our chests but there was even more. Below the heading was an article about the sculpture and the beginning of the title drove the message home: “A Heartfelt Message From The Artist…”
The article is there for many others to read. The pieces of glass and dimes have different worldly purposes too. Regardless, for we grieving parents longing to connect with a child, there is another very real purpose for these things.
There are many objects, sounds, smells, numbers, and symbols that the whole world experiences on a constant basis. When we are open and in tune to this new language/communication, our five senses can inform us with clues for our sixth, to receive the comforting messages of peace.
No longer physically able to manipulate “things”, our passed loved ones influence what they can— the often ignored sense within us, which is unconstrained by the physical. When open to it, we can become what has been termed a “shining light” parent and help others to feel comfort too.
Freeways have signs for the “unique attraction”, rest stops, and exits, which are subconsciously ignored until we need them— likewise, the unchosen path of grief we are on is filled with signs when we watch for them.
I wish everyone safe travels, luck, and love, in recognizing the signs meant for each of us.
~With love, Rick Wilcoxson

Harry & Jenny Bruell's validation from their daughter Taya through Lisa Wilcoxson
Taya Bruell/Lisa Wilcoxson/Fireflies

My wife and I participated in Lisa Wilcoxson's session on February 1st with Helping Parents Heal and I just watched the video when I got home from work.  Our daughter's favorite song was 'Fireflies' by Owl City. She learned how to sign the words to the song in her ASL class at school and played the song frequently at our home. She put the song on her iPad at midnight on February 1, 2016 (6 years ago today) when she hung herself in her bedroom at age 14. We found her the next morning (Feb 2, 2016).  Also, this morning on my pre-dawn run in the woods I had an urge to stop at an unusual spot I'd never stopped at. When I looked around I saw a huge owl very close to me in the tree just where I had stopped.

Thank you so much for bringing our daughter's message to us. It meant the world to us.

Lisa Monroe's validation from her son Anthony through Lisa Wilcoxson
Anthony Monroe/Lisa Wilcoxson

I missed the zoom meeting tonight with Lisa. But wow she hit a reading for me right on the spot as I listened to the very beginning of the recording.

I also lost my son Anthony (Cox) at the tender age of 25 on December 29th of 2018. I was only yesterday talking with my mom about being in Walmart and Anthony (maybe age 3-4) hid in the circular clothes rack. He was there and then he was gone. I panicked and my heart sank. I went up to the jewelry counter explaining that I couldn't find my son and told them what he was wearing. I continued to look in the area I had been in. Calling his name and then heard this little snicker coming from a clothes rack. So relieved to have found my silly little Anthony playing hide and seek with me.

What a beautiful way Lisa explained this. I do know he is here with me but man it is so hard to really face the fact that it isn't physically. Lisas' story made me smile from ear to ear and I know the message was meant for me.

Another solid sign was her background. I had taken a picture of one of my puppies that had climbed up in my favorite tree, a tree that I have taken photos of my children by since I have lived here. I zoomed in on the picture and took a screenshot of the zoom to send to my daughter. I noticed an orange dot that I studied, wondering if it was a sign from Anthony, but I then realized it was an orange dot from my phone and the screenshot. So I dismissed it as a sign. Then I saw the recording and realized I had missed the zoom call. I eagerly watched and low and behold Lisa talked about the backdrop the children had chose for her. And there it was. Fire flies and some of them looked like orange dots. Everything aligned perfectly and I wasn't even on the live call.

Thank you to all of you for your being here for all of us.
~Lisa Monroe

Jo Garber's validation from her son Phil through Lisa Wilcoxson
Phil Garber/Lisa Wilcoxson

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Lisa Wilcoxson for bringing through my son, and to you for the comfort and friendship I've received through Helping Parents Heal.

Lisa was so accurate. My son, Phil came through to Lisa with the most amazing evidence that he still is very much alive and well. My son was in the military as Lisa stated and did indeed have a small lake behind his house with a fountain just as she described. There were a couple of things that Lisa mentioned that didn't make sense, but after the Zoom meeting it all made sense! The first was that my son mentioned a ring and the name Mark. As it turns out, I have five friends who I jokingly refer to as "The circle of trust." My best friend is Mark who I have know since I was two and is like a brother to me. The second thing she mentioned is that my son was giving a bear hug to someone with a mustache and beard. Well, it turns out that would be my other son, Phil's older brother. He and his wife are expecting a baby in April and were considering naming him after Phil, but went with my husband's name as he transitioned a year before my Phil. Lisa was even so kind as to talk with me today to explain something that Phil told her that he felt was private.

I'm so, so grateful to you for putting me in touch with Lisa. If not for you, this never would have happened and now I can say my heart and soul are at peace. I've attached a picture of my Phil to put a face with the reading.

Thank you and all my love,
~Jo Garber

Karolina Barac's validation from her daughter Olivia through Beth Lynch
Olivia Barac/Beth Lynch

I have three kids, they are uniquely amazing in their own ways: beautiful, talented, funny & so smart. But the middle one, Olivia 15, she’s something special! She’s creative, spiritual, musical, loving, sporty, adventurous, funny and so very social. Ever since she was little people were just drawn to her, kids and adults alike, she just has that IT factor. She couldn’t wait for Covid restrictions to be over to resume school and social activities, the lockdowns were tough. On the 14th of October 2021 she went to her friends house for dinner and then messaged me they were going for an early evening walk before I picked her up. That was my last message from her. They had climbed up onto the train tracks that run across the park and she was hit by a passing train. She was confirmed brain dead and we had the machines turned off on the 15th of October 2021.
Our minds asking the unanswerable, our hearts broken, our lives forever changed. But then the signs started almost immediately: the vivid dreams, the open cupboards, the fallen clocks & pictures, the flickering lights, the songs on the radio etc.. and we began to question, something just doesn’t add up! Where does that soul, that electricity go?? So I started to read and look for answers and came across Helping Parents Heal - this made sense to me, these parents experiencing the signs and thoughts that maybe, just perhaps death is not the end.
I was unsure of the meetings and the group mediums but had some quiet time one day and decided to try a zoom group medium session. Elizabeth and Irene were introducing Beth Lynch. The session started off with a lovely introduction, a meditation and then Beth started to call on different people. About 45min in she mentioned one of the departed kids was saying she has her mum’s ring - this got my attention as I gave my engagement ring to my Olivia. But more information was needed. Then my husband came into the room and said ‘how’s it goin? How is Olivia going to find you through all these people AND from another country??’ (We are in Australia) he had barely finished his sentence when we heard Beth call out ‘OLIVIA!’ We looked bewilder at each other!! My hands started to shake. My husband started to urge me to type & get Elizabeth’s attention but I couldn’t move. I could hear Beth calling my girls name and I was just trying not to cry. When I finally managed to get my mic on and have a chat it was surreal! She mentioned how cute she dresses and said she heard her sing and mentioned the confusion around her accident, that she explained through Olivia was a wrong choice she made. She said she appeared happy, signing & putting flowers in her hair. I thanked her and Beth moved onto the next person, while my husband and I sat there dumbfounded at the chances and accuracy of the reading.! We thanked Olivia for being so brave to come through and told her we loved the message. Another sign to add to the collection that death is not the end.
We are still early in our loss and the loneliness and sadness is so heavy but our new found spiritual journey to find our love across the veil is just beginning. The work that Helping Parents Heal does to bring parents like us together and provide them a guide along this incredible path is truly a blessing.

Thank you from Karol and Silvo Barac - Olivia’s parents.

Yelena Galitskya's validation from her son Igor through Beth Lynch
Igor Galitskaya in his truck/Igor playing the guitar/Beth Lynch

My son, Igor Galitskaya, passed in June 30, 202o.  He was 28.  I signed up for this meeting with Beth Lynch on January 27th. I was working on computer and totally forgot to watch the time. Something touched me and I remembered.  I jumped on the zoom meeting. I noticed that it was the 17th minute (my son communicates with me through numbers). 17 is his lucky number.  There was a reading going on for someone and I heard the word 'arch' and 'truck'…Both my son and I have companies that start with the word 'Arch' and he had a trucking company, so I knew he was trying to tell me something.
In a little bit Beth mentioned a sleeping bag and I knew it was my son. He loved to travel to festivals with his friends and was always using a sleeping bag, I was trying to help him pack all the time.  So he finally started talking to me and he said something (through Beth) which gave me so much joy and relief. I’ve been going over and over in my head about one thing. Does Igor know how proud I am of him? I wake up with this question and I go to bed with it.  Suddenly, Beth said: 'Your son is giving you a message:  'Mom, I know.  I love you very much'"  Thank you for this beautiful message.

Sending love and light,
~Yelena Galitskaya, Arch and Style

Dr. Mark Pickstick, Author of 'SoulProof'Mark Pitstick and his book 'SoulProof'

Evolved Souls Don’t Need Long Earthly Lives
February 2022
by Mark Pitstick, MA, DC

To all parents, I am very sorry about the death of your child’s human form.  However, I’m glad you are learning how to heal and transform.  Six key understandings to making that shift are:

     1. Over 99.9% of who and what your child “was” is still alive in the next phase of life.  See articles #1 and 60 at
SoulProof.com for a review of the scientific and clinical evidence.
     2. Only his earthly body died.  Everything else continues – the love, energy, sense of humor, memory, personality, energetic body, and much moreReally knowing this is a key to healing.
     3. She is happy, peaceful, loving, and enthusiastic – and wants you to be that way now too.
     4. You will see him when you pass on and can enjoy a different kind of relationship now.  (To learn more about how you can do this, see article #9
Visit With ‘Departed’ Loved Ones Now)
     5. You can choose to transmute your grief into a spiritually transformative experience that
powerfully improves your life and blesses others.
     6. You can heal and increase the gifts from his life by lovingly serving others.

Bereaved parents understandably feel much pain, sadness, anger, guilt, and other lower energy emotions.   No one could or should ever judge that.  However, many parents have learned to emphasize #1 – 6 above and enjoy life again.  They have journeyed – one step at a time – FROM bereaved parents TO shining light parents.

Shining light parents have sad feeling too at times, but they choose to focus – as much as possible – on appreciation for great times and memories, realization they will see their child again, and transformation by finding the silver linings.  They resolve to make the world a better place in honor of their children by creating more meaning to their life and passing.

You can do the same.  It’s not easy and it doesn’t happen overnight, but it is possible with small steps day by day.  To learn more, see article #2 at SoulProof.com.  Here are five action steps . . .

  • Attend local and online Helping Parents Heal meetings

  • Contact The Caring Listeners to talk with at no charge

  • Read free articles at SoulProof.com and take relevant action steps

  • Listen to free Radio Shows at SoulProof.com and our answers to life’s toughest questions including “Why do children die?”

  • Lean on others as needed.  Later, when you are doing better, you can help others.
Q: Our second child passed on last year.  The first one was so difficult but this one is even worse.  We are losing our faith and wonder if there really is an afterlife?  Or is that just wishful thinking for those who can't face the cruelty of life?

A: Thank you for asking the very question that many people have – especially during their 'dark night of the soul'.  The loss of faith is bad enough, but then some people feel guilty for doubting God and questioning the teachings of their church.  The great news?  Much scientific, clinical, and firsthand experience evidence now definitely demonstrates that life continues after bodily death.

As such, you can count on this collective evidence even if you have NO faith left.  Both are great but sometimes faith can seem, as you say, like wishful thinking.  I've worked very hard to condense that evidence so everyone can understand and benefit from it.  My recent book The Afterlife Evidence is only 100 pages, but covers all the existing evidence in an interesting and easy-to-read format.

I will send the e-book of The Afterlife Evidence to anyone who wants it at no charge.  (Just email me at the address below.  The paperback and audio book are available at SoulProof.com/Shop or Amazon.)

After you've read it, share it with your husband and other family members.  Have a family gathering to talk about the evidence that no one really dies and your thoughts about it.  That will no doubt launch a discussion, crying, and laughing.  Families who have done this report that it was very therapeutic and soulful.  Your two children will likely be in the room even though no one may perceive them.  They will root and cheer you all on to remember the big picture of life and the great news that sets us free.

Please send me an email and let me know how that went.

Hugs, love, and blessings as you increasingly heal, transform, and let it shine!
~Mark

NEW GROUP! Helping Parents Heal - All Our Children/Only Child

Irene Vouvlalides (and Linus)/Lisa Wilcoxson

We are truly grateful to let you know that Irene Vouvalides and Lisa Wilcoxson, who are already  Affiliate Leaders, Caring Listeners and Board Members (Irene), will be taking on new roles within Helping Parents Heal.
We have had a need for leaders of a group that is specifically for parents who have all of their children who have transitioned.  We will call this group 'Helping Parents Heal - All Our Children/Only Child' and Irene and Lisa have kindly agreed to take charge.

Irene Vouavalides:
Irene is our Vice President & Conference Director. Irene's best friend and only child, her beautiful daughter Carly, passed to esophageal-gastric cancer. Like so many of us, this devastating experience sent her on a spiritual quest. She has found friends and comfort through Helping Parents Heal. She created a foundation in Carly's honor- Carly’s Kids A Foundation For Education. Please visit: Carly’s Kids.  She is the Affiliate Leader of the Hilton Head/Bluffton HPH group and a Caring Listener. She also holds a bi-monthly chat with Kathy MacMannis.

Lisa Wilcoxson:
I am the mom of two beautiful boys, both in spirit. Michael Angelo was born in 1988 and crossed in 2000 at the age of 12 from pneumonia. Michael was born very healthy, but had special needs due to having had a severe toxic reaction to his first DPT shot at the age of 4 weeks. Michael never spoke or walked, but taught me more about love than any other human possibly could have. He was as beautiful in life as he is in spirit, and being his mom remains to this day to be the greatest privilege I’ll ever have on this earth. Anthony is my other shining light, and I know he was born as a golden gift. Anthony was six when Michael crossed, and everything I lived for was in Anthony’s eyes. Anthony told me when he was two that he was waiting forever to be born so I could be his Mommy. Then, when he was four, he was crying. He said he was sad because he was going to leave me when he was 18. I thought he meant he was going to college. He was a freshman at Arizona State University when he transitioned from being poisoned by a synthetic drug at a party in 2013. During this dark night of my soul I was able to find my boys again in meditation, and have since learned that Spirit has chosen to use me through mediumship to prove that love never dies. My boys are at my side 24/7, and with this I’ve learned to live peacefully and joyfully having one foot on this earth plane serving Spirit and one foot in the spirit plane with them.

NEW AFFILIATE LEADER and ADMIN! Helping Parents Heal - Spiritual Tools for Grief Healing
Paige Lee, Amy Boyer Cox and Donna Rewald

Hello, wonderful Parents!
We have an exciting announcement.  Amy Boyer Cox and Donna Rewald will be joining Paige Lee to assist her with her Spiritual Tools for Grief Healing Affiliate group; Amy as a co-host, and Donna as an admin.  Please join me in welcoming them! ❤

Paige Lee:
Paige's spiritual awakening came abruptly and forcefully after her 23-year old son, Bryan, was murdered in September 2008. Just as the only world she’d ever known was shattered, a new world opened. A world filled with Hope, Spirit, and Love; a world that allowed her not only to continue having a relationship with her son, but a world that opened her own true self into being.
Paige is dedicated to helping people who have experienced a profound loss, especially the loss of a child, face and release their emotions and find a way to joyfully connect with their loved one in Spirit.
She is the author of Choose to Believe, a beautiful book that shares her after death experiences with Bryan and encourages the reader to make connections with their loved ones after death. Our loved ones are not lost, they are not gone...we can still have a relationship with them! Paige is a certified Grief Recovery Specialist, an Intuitive Grief Coach and a level II Reiki practitioner. She is also a life coach, certified through Mary Morrissey's Dreambuilder program.
A former Helping Parents Heal Affiliate Director in Boise, Idaho, Paige lives with her husband Dwaine. They love to travel and spend as much time as they can with their two remaining children and five grandchildren.

Amy Boyer Cox:
My name is Amy, I am the mother of 3 remarkable souls, McKellar (1997), and twins Will & Claire (2001). My oldest, McKellar, ended his life-long battle of mental health disorder by suicide. On July 2nd, 2017 I began receiving signs that physical death of the body is just a “pause”. Our relationships can and do continue in the non-physical as we begin to move through our grief. This understanding did not lessen the visceral pain, agony and despair that I was feeling from his transition. What it did give me was Hope. That Hope sent me on a path of a profound life altering awakening. With this insight I knew that I could survive what is known to most individuals as the unsurvivable. I have always had a passion for helping people heal. I have been a massage therapist for 26 years. Just 2 weeks before my son died I became a Reiki practitioner. Last year I began an apprenticeship with a Shaman and became a Reiki Master. These practices have enabled me to deepen my spiritual work as well as my own personal healing journey with grief.

Donna Rewald:
I am the mother to 4 adult kids, 3 boys, 1 girl. I lost my oldest son Adam (40) in a freak kayaking accident July 26, 2019 up at our cottage.
I've always believed there was something more to our life after we passed, and Adam is doing so well at showing me his signs to validate this.
It's important to me to provide a place where like-minded parents could meet to talk about their children that have crossed, to share signs and connections, learn new means.   To have a  welcoming, friendly and safe environment to also heal our grieving hearts together,  knowing we can still have a relationship with our kids, just a different type.

They will be meeting Monday evenings at 7 pm MST by Zoom.

Helping Parents Heal - Sound Healing with Andrea Courey!
Andrea Courey

Every month, please join us for a Sound Healing Meditation with author and Shining Light Mom Andrea Courey! Award winning entrepreneur, author, lecturer and recipient of a McGill University Dobson Fellow, Andrea graduated from McGill University in 1982 and from the University of Victoria in 2018 with a Master’s in Education. Since Andrea’s near death experience in 1991, she has been practicing meditation and was introduced to Sound Meditation a decade later.
Andrea’s daughter Chloe passed into Spirit in 2016. Six weeks later, Andrea began a dialogue with Chloe after hearing Chloe’s words 'Mom, you are so easy to find it's a joke'. For five months they exchanged many conversations which became Andrea’s first book ‘Conversations with Chloe: A Mother and Daughter Dialogue Across the Veil’. Her second book, ‘Magical Thinking…not!’ is a collection of conversations with bereaved parents about their journeys of love and loss and the signs they receive from their children in spirit. Andrea is a sound healing practitioner helping people to reduce anxiety and experience deep peace. This is documented along with their journey in David’s book Finding Davey. We felt Davey right away and knew he was not gone. We found out about HPH and it has helped us heal and connect with other patents. We enjoy talking about the signs we get from Davey and hearing about other parents’ experiences. Being a “Shining Light Parent” has helped us find meaning. Now with the HPH Meditation group, we would like to help others through positive energy and love with the help of our children on the other side.  Please click

Craig McMahon's New Spirituality Series is now available!

Hello, wonderful Parents!  All of you know and love Craig McMahon, producer of the Life to Afterlife Spirituality Series.  Craig has just come out with 4 new episodes; Life to Afterlife, The Awakening.  Many of the parents and providers that you know and love are featured in these four episodes, that you can watch free of charge. Joe McQuillen and I are in the first episode, and Judith Hancox is in episode 4!
Craig introduces Julie Dylan McMahon in the first episode as well, a Shining Light Mom whose son Dakota passed at the age of 19.  She is featured in the photo above.  Please consider watching all of these uplifting, healing documentaries, and click
here to view the first one!
From Craig:
Craig McMahon delves into this four-part spirituality docu-series, were he covers topics that will shed light on all the spiritual things needed to help us navigate into the "new earth". Some refer to this as 5D, the big shift, end of times and revelations. We will learn how to stop annoying repetitive karma cycles, clear past traumas and rise above once and for all. We will learn how to live in the harmony and finally say farewell to discord. We will learn how to become master manifesters by attracting loving relationships, compassion, abundance, kindness and truth. The series also sheds light on how to learn from love instead of the old earth way of pain and suffering. We also learn how to connect and have direct communication to the divine truth ourselves. All of these topics bring us to the understanding that there is no death.
