Weekly Encouragement

We missed you!

Mika and I are so grateful for all the love and support during the month of December, and yes, it took over a month to get an email out!  Thanks for the grace and patience as we have slowly gotten back on our feet.  Our energy levels are still challenging and the mounting pile of work that is still to be done can be overwhelming.  We are thankful for our business staff and the church staff for its support and willingness to help us get caught back up to the land of the living.

Most of all, far more than the stuff that isn’t done yet, we missed all of you.  Some we have been able to connect with and others we have yet to get time together.  We want you to know that we love you and are excited to connect with you.

On that note, we are excited for many of the changes that God is bringing to Harvest Valley this year.  In December we celebrated a full year having been back at Harvest from our leave of absence. This year has been a wonderful journey of discovery as we established a new pace and allowed ourselves the room to listen to God’s heart with more intentionality concerning Harvest.

We know our mission is the same, to see revival come to the region.  We know that we are a refuge for healing and a launchpad for transformation.  We also know that you are the reason that Harvest is here.  To empower and equip you to be revival, to help people heal, and to see transformation come.  We want to support you, help you, and do whatever we can to see you fulfill your destiny in Christ with your family, your work, your friends, and your community.

At the same time, we know that everyone that joins us for a Sunday service needs to be able to connect with the presence of God that brings personal revival.  We hope that you join us, not only for your personal encounter, but to be equipped for encountering those around you.  We know that God is on the move, and we hope we can choose to partner together in this journey in fresh new ways.
With love and care,

Pastor Chris

Prayer Needs and Updates:

  • Pray for our mission organizations, their families, and their provision.  Celebrate Recovery Nicaragua, Freedom House, Helping Hands Healing Hearts, Idahope Families.
  • Pray for those called to serve in this season with Youth and Kids Ministries.  We are praying for those that have a burden for the youth and a willingness to serve them.
  • Pray for those called to Leadership at HVWC.  We believe that God is raising up mighty men and women of God who will lead others in their pursuit of God.  We know that God is expanding our influence, and those who desire to play a part in the body through leadership should know they are called to it in this season.
