Just a quick hello as we're getting ready for our meeting at Buon Gusto Farms!

Our meeting will be Tuesday, February 15 at noon.
Buon Gusto Farms is at: 5055 Canada Larga Road in West Ventura.
Remember - we're going to a working orchard... Wear close-toed shoes for some walking, and a hat or sunscreen... :-)
Yes, Google Maps can help you get there, but here are a couple of extra instructions that our host provided for us:
1) Exit from Highway 33 at Canada Larga Road and turn right at the bottom of the off ramp. You now have about 5.5 miles to go on Canada Larga Road. Just stay on it until you get to the house.
2) About 3 miles in, there is a gate across the road. It is NOT locked. Open the chain, go through and please close the gate behind you. If you look to the right while you are opening the gate you will see a sign that indicates "5055 - 2 miles" - that is where you're going.
3) About a mile after the gate you will see a large horse facility on the right. Stay on Canada Larga (you have about 1 more mile to go)
4) You will go over a cattle guard and on to the County gravel road for about 400 feet.
5) Then you come to another gate. It is controlled by an electronic keypad. The code is 4141. Punch in those numbers (purposefully) and it will open for you. It closes automatically behind you. You now have 3/4 mile to go. The road is fine for any car but may be a little rough in spots.
6) When you see the orchard, immediately look over the trees and you will see the house and driveway is ahead on the right (follow the fence line).
Please be on time. You should probably plan to exit off of highway 33 10-15 minutes before the meeting time so you can arrive at the house by noon. One of our volunteers will be there to help you at the first gate, but if you arrive after noon, she will likely not be there to open and close the gate and replace the chain after you pass through...
And remember - we likely won't have cell service up there. If you try to call or text anyone and they don't respond, please don't take it personally.
