FIRST CHAIR

It was a chilly evening for our first “Night Skiing” event in 2 years, but this didn’t stop families from coming out to enjoy! The attendance was fantastic, the tractor rides and smores a hit, and it was great to see so many members enjoying a night shushing and sliding under the lights. Winter pushes on with continued cold temperatures and more fresh snow this week. Bundle up, because these conditions look awesome heading into another busy weekend at the Club.

SIGNIFICANT DIGITS
It’s official, we are side to side, with all terrain, including Hallelujah and Achilles Glades, open and ready for you to enjoy. Our Terrain Park Team has been busy adding features to both “Purgatory” and “Hades Lane” and the “Beatrice Flex Terrain” area also received some fine tuning. We can’t wait to see the cool tricks that come from these obstacles, so be sure to check them out!

BUSINESS OF THE GLEN
TOWN HALL MEETING OF THE MEMBERS - Members are invited on Saturday, February 5, 2022, for the annual Town Hall Meeting. This event is a great way to learn about what is going on at Devil’s Glen and is also a key opportunity for the Board and Management to hear your thoughts. The meeting takes place at 2:00 pm in the River Styx Room.  All members are encouraged to attend, and we look forward to seeing you there.

NURSERY - As restrictions ease, we are pleased to have our Nursery opening its doors again.  All members that previously booked a time block in the nursery will be contacted and then we will open registration for any remaining spots on Saturday at 9:00 am through Member Central on www.devilsglen.com .

DEVIL THAT YOU KNOW
It’s time to get out on those Rec Trails! With some new natural snowfall and cold temperatures, they're in good shape for you to enjoy this weekend. We continue to withhold trail grooming until a suitable snow base is ready, to avoid any unnecessary damage done by the machine & equipment.

NOW AND GLEN
It’s looking like another prime winter weekend to get out and enjoy all that Devil’s Glen has to offer.

“Deck” Drinks – If you haven’t yet tried one of the Clubs’ specialty drinks, you have another chance to warm up from the inside out this weekend. Grab a beverage available only on the deck at the Outside Bar, while you enjoy music in the window with “Aaron Garner.”

BITS & BITES
We are looking forward to our return to indoor dining on Friday, February 4th. As we begin to add some indoor activities to the calendar, including our Member Town Hall on February 5th, we are also excited to offer Friday Night Family Dinners. This is a fantastic way to start your weekend off right! Head up from the city, stop and put the heat on at the Chalet and head to the Lodge for a home cooked meal. No mess, no fuss and you get to go home to a warm chalet, it’s a win win!  Please note that all indoor activities will require masks be worn at all times unless seated and actively eating/drinking. Stay tuned for the menu and more information from us in upcoming social media posts. The Friday Night Family Dinner sign-up will be available online starting this Friday, Jan. 28th.

We are beyond excited about planning our “Hybrid” Men’s and Ladies Days.  While we continue to focus on “the outdoors” and all the fun activities that come with these events, we are thrilled about the return to indoor dining and enjoying all the delicious foods & drinks that we traditionally look forward to at these events. The plan and agendas for both events will be posted soon, please keep your eyes out for future weekly communications and don’t forget to purchase your tickets - they are selling fast!

BEING IN THE COMMUNITY
Demo Day at the Glen is this Sunday, January 9th, please NOTE a NEW location: you can check out the newest skis located at the bottom of Heavenly.

Volunteers Needed - Call out to the Devil’s Glen community! If you are available and can help, please contact michelle@devilsglen.com. Thank you!
Being at the Glen is all about “living the Glen life,” being with family, being with friends, being together, outside in the beautiful surroundings! There is no better time to live the experience of being at the Glen. We can’t wait to live it with you! See you soon.
