Dear CYBBies,

While it has been a whirlwind of a summer with eased restrictions and very little sunshine (thanks to La Nina), we hope you still managed to find some time to rest. Time to rest, rejuvenate, refresh and look forward to the coming year. 2021 is in the past and we start anew. We begin again. However, be consoled too that new beginnings are not limited to new years, but they apply to each and every day.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:22-23

This February - this day - begin again.

God bless,

Alex and Rachel (the CYBB Team)
CYBB & other events.
Over the Summer, eight of our Catholic Youth Broken Bay youth leaders attended Sydney Catholic Youth's event, the Youth Leaders Evangelisation School. The one week immersion experience included daily prayer routines, pilgrimages offsite, spiritual and ministry formation in theory and practice with top speakers, and the presence of an authentic and loving Christian community. The school is a game-changer and has re-ignited the hearts of these leaders with the fire of the Holy Spirit, who are being sent back into parishes for another of serving! "YLES was a daily reminder of God's constant love for me and my fellow brothers and sisters." - Don Vila, 20 y/o, Ku-Ring-Gai Chase Parish.
Glorious is a new CYBB initiative that combines community with creativity to offer an experience of God's love and glory through events and evangelisation, no matter where we’ve come from or what our gifts are. At Glorious we share food and friendship and utilize all creativity and art which will be trained and developed together for the purpose of introducing people to Jesus, who is the source of all beauty and creativity.
