A very warm welcome to all Rustenburg families. We hope that 2022 will be filled with much enjoyment and involvement in many areas of school life.

2022 SCHOOL BIRTHDAY (Cake Donations):
We are so excited to start off the year by celebrating our 128th birthday on Friday, 4 February 2022. The day promises to be a jam-packed one as we celebrate our top academic achievers, unveil our new Life Sciences room and debut the new school song. Parents are welcome to join after school (13:00) and buy from the food trucks that will be available on the day.

GRADE 8 APPLE IPAD UPDATE:
We would like to update the Grade 8 parents and learners on our current pending delivery of Apple iPads. Sadly we are still awaiting the delivery of our full iPad order - we have received an insufficient number thus far in order to issue to all Grade 8s. This delay, however, is due to global supply issues beyond our control. We wish to confirm that we are working with our partner to resolve the supply issues as quickly as possible.

Matric Results 2021


Congratulations to the RGHS Class of 2021 on their outstanding Matric results:
  • Number of candidates: 154
  • Number of passes: 154 (100%)
  • Number of Bachelors passes: 152 (98.70%)
  • Number of Diploma passes: 2 (1.29%)
  • Number of Subject distinctions: 611
  • Number of Subject averages of 80%+: 10
  • Number of Subject averages of 70% - 79%: 6
  • Number of learners who achieved 4+ subject distinctions: 88 (57.14%)
  • Number of learners who achieved 90%+ aggregate: 17 (11.04%)
  • Average aggregate for grade: 78.05%
We are very proud of our top NSC candidate, Erin Coull, who achieved an aggregate of 96.5%. We would also like to acknowledge our top 20 achievers. Congratulations!

Calling all parents in Hout Bay! We have a successful, friendly lift club comprising several Rustenberg families with daughters in different grades, making trips to and from school much more manageable for all. We are interested in expanding - so if you would like to participate, please WhatsApp Julian on 076 309 5049.
I am looking to join a lift club travelling from Sunningdale/Parklands/Tableview/Blouberg/Milnerton.  I would not be able to assist in the mornings.  However, I could transport in the afternoons after extra murals.
