Dr. Ingmar Gorman is co-founder of Fluence. He received his clinical training in New York City at the New School for Social Research, Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, Columbia University, and Bellevue Hospital. He completed his NIH postdoctoral fellowship at New York University.

Join Fluence Lead Trainer Dr. Jeffrey Guss for his Psychoanalytic Psychedelic Clinical Consultation Group designed to provide a creative and supportive environment for clinicians to discuss psychedelic integration work.

The goal of this group is to provide a safe, informative, and confidential place for therapists and other practitioners to discuss their clinical work in psychedelic integration. Being able to discuss clinical work helps expand psychedelic knowledge and expands others work and understandings.

In-Person Open House in Portland, OR

Fluence announces its Open House in Portland, Oregon on March 3. This event, led by Fluence Co-Founder Elizabeth Nielson, PhD, provides an opportunity to meet program teachers, staff, and participants. Our certificate programs feature a variety of learning modalities and introduce participants to a peer group for ongoing professional support and development. Come by and meet us and learn more about how you can start your professional education in the field of psychedelic therapy!

The goal of this 12-week group is to provide a safe, informative, and supportive place for therapists and other practitioners to discuss their clinical work in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). This group is led by Dr. Shari Taylor and Donna Sorgen, LMHC, LPC.

Participants will be learning the principals of KAP and methods for working with psychedelic experiences in ongoing psychotherapies. Enrollment in this course is available to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Certificate Program participants and KAP practitioners in the general community by application only.

This course will begin on April 7, 2022, led by Leigh Ann de Monredon, NP, and Rebecca Kronman, LCSW. KAP Theory and Methodology is the core component of the Postgraduate Certificate in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.

The hybrid format includes self-paced learning materials - videos, readings, and assignments - and weekly live-online meetings with trainers for discussion, role plays, case discussions, and Q&A time.

Spring Course—Psychedelic Integration: Premise and Promise—Open for Registration

Join us May 6-8, 2022 for our upcoming live online course, “Psychedelic Integration: Premise and Promise.” This is your opportunity to gain greater insights into how to work with patients with a history of psychedelic use or who have expressed interest in using psychedelics.

This interactive training will include experiential learning, demonstrations, self-reflection, and role-play exercises. The themes of spirituality, ethics, and critical discussion will be woven throughout the program with opportunities for connection, collaboration, and building community.

Fluence Training Demo Videos to Enrich Learning Experience

Fluence co-founder Elizabeth Nielson and trainers David Gumpel, Aja Molinar, and Leah Gooch have filmed demonstration psychedelic integration therapy sessions at White Feather Farm near Woodstock, NY. Fluence has partnered with Depth of Field to produce professional sample videos for a rich and varied learning experience for trainees.

Throughout this year, Fluence trainees will see our new video content rolling out in Understanding Ketamine, KAP Theory and Methodology, Psychedelic Integration: Premise and Promise, and an array of self-paced courses.
