THANK YOU

As 2022 kicks off, the Watalux team would like to thank all the customers, partners, and representatives who made projects possible in 2021.
We launched Watalux in 2018, and since then we have equipped over 550 health centres for the local production of sodium hypochlorite for surface disinfection. The WATA chlorinators provide a reliable hygiene solution in remote health centers.

CONGO-BRAZZAVILLE

In 2020, the 11th Ebola epidemic broke out in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
In order to prevent this terrifying disease from spreading, 10 extremely remote health facilities were equipped with solar-powered WATA-Plus devices.

MADAGASCAR

The Grand Sud region of Madagascar is the most landlocked and least developed area of the country (UNDP).  Over 1.7 million inhabitants (11% of the country's population) have limited infrastructure or employment opportunities.
To make matter worse, for the past 4 years, the population has been particularly affected by drought, which is causing famine in what could become the world's first famine caused by climate change (source: UN info).

75 basic health centres have been equipped with solar WATA-Standard, to limit hospital-acquired infections.

The WATA system has equipped of 57 stations and made the operators self-sufficient in the production of liquid chlorine to make the water in the network potable.

69 health centres were also equipped with WATA to improve hygiene, including the hospital in Allada, the national centre where patients with COVID-19 are treated.
