Hackathon

At this year’s Hackathon event, students from grades 9-12 will be confronted with a real-world problem that requires collaboration, innovation and creativity to solve.

Media and Design Competition
DATE: Friday, March 25, 2022
This annual event highlights Pennsylvania middle school and high school students’ application skills, creativity and knowledge. While showcasing their technical and design projects, students will learn how to effectively convey information and enhance the learning process.

CalcuSolve
DATES: Thursday, May 5, 2022
This exciting competition tests students’ mathematical problem-solving skills. Students in grades 5-12 participate both individually and as part of a four-member team. During the course of the event, there will be two team problems and seven individual problems.

Invention Convention
DATE: Thursday, May 12, 2022
Students in grades 4-12 are invited to use design thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills to prototype an invention that will make the world a better place. Open to individual students and teams of up to three students.
