Dear Friends,

     News Flash - Rev. Ron and his wife Linda are driving east to their new home in Tennessee this week.  They are excited about their new adventure and are looking forward to being near their son's family. We will miss them, but we should also rejoice for them - because it really is a beautiful demonstration of how setting an intention and following it up with spiritual practice works.  
     Of course, Rev. Ron has years of practice using spiritual principles, but the truth is that these principles will work for all of us, no matter how new we are to the teaching -  just like turning on a light switch will light up a room no matter whether it is the first time someone tried to do it, or whether they have done it every day for years. However, we do have to actually turn the switch on, we can't just sit there and hope the light will turn itself on.  
      Some of us have made it through the pandemic with more challenges than others.  Just the simple fact of going through a long separation from other people (except for close family, etc.) may mean that we require a readjustment period as we move forward into our "new normal" ways of being all together again.   Imagine an astronaut coming home from two years on the space station - yes, they had radio contact - but they will have to go through a re-entry period of adjustment for the health of their bodies and minds.
     What do you need to make a happy landing?  To have a healthy re-entry period?  Spiritual Principles can help us right now, no matter what challenges we are facing.   While Ernest Holmes said faith is better than hope, at least hope can start us off in the right direction.  
     We need to seek our good.  Just like a bear coming out of hibernation must look for berries and food - as we come out of this time of separation - we must look for our specific good as we re-enter and re-engage and re-create our new normal.

Knowing the Truth

     Living in Truth challenges us to recognize there is no absolute right or wrong.  There is individuality and choices.  We are grown in different countries, cultures, family values.  Yet we are created by the One as one.  Our difference is what challenges us as we navigate our connection with divine guidance.
    Once we enter into sensing the Divine Truth, we are open to guidance.  We are guided in Truth by our intuitive knowing.  This is our compass which constantly mirrors back to us our differences from each other and at the same time allows us to embrace our oneness.

This Week's Meditation Passage:

I See No Evil
 
     I see no evil; I behold only the good.
     I have seen the drunkard lying in the gutter, and the saint kneeling in ecstasy before the high altar of their faith, but I have seen no difference.
     I have perceived that each, in their own tongue, is seeking to express the One Life.
     I will not separate and divide; I cannot condemn nor censure, for I know that there is but One in All.
     I know that all came from the One, and all will return to the One.
     I know that all are now in the One, and that each is seeking to express the One.

     I know and love all.
