Nancy Voght, is concluding her years as President of OVD Alliance Women. We have all been enormously blessed by her heart, passion and leadership as well as the team that she has developed. As she hands off the baton we say, “Well done good and faithful servant!” The ripples of Nancy’s strong impact and good influence will continue to be felt for a long time and will be experienced literally around the globe.

After serving under Nancy as the VP of OVD Alliance Women, Christina Williams (pictured on the right with her husband, Larry who pastors Crossroads Fellowship in Clarksville, TN) will now be serving as the President of OVD Alliance Women beginning today, February 1, 2022.
Please feel free to congratulate and welcome Christina to her new role!

A word from Jeff Miller
OVD District Superintendent

Momentum is a funny thing. I was discussing it one day with some teammates while driving through some beautiful and mountainous countryside. I was asked my perception of momentum in our ministry.
|
|
|
At just that moment, as we were heading down a mountain, I looked across the median to see a massive truck with an oversize load. It was straining for all its worth to climb that hill. I commented that the enormous rig was a great picture of how I perceived our momentum. Like the truck we are moving forward; inching ever closer to our objective. But it still feels like a steep uphill climb. Do I sense progress? Absolutely! Is there much to praise God for? Certainly. Are we heading in the right direction? I firmly believe so.

In this month’s article, I thought I’d begin a series on one of my favorite subjects. For those of you who know me, you won’t be surprised. No, it’s not “kenotic” leadership! I’d like to take the opportunity over the next five articles to share how I’ve experienced the beautiful expressions of the five-fold gift of leadership found in Ephesians 4. I’ll also share some of the not-so-beautiful expressions.
