Staff Changes
I am writing to let you know that I am moving on. After a hectic year of reopening and rebuilding up our services I am moving on to work with a national charity on tackling poverty (a cause dear to my heart). I would like to thank you all and our amazing staff , Marie, and volunteers - Angela, Claire, Juliet, Kathryn, Sue, Elspeth and Chris for making it such an enjoyable year,
On Monday Ann Brolan, is starting as the new Manager. Ann has run a small charity before and has worked in Hackney for many years. She will continue to expand the services and activities we offer so watch this space..
New Clinics - More Osteopathy at Hoxton Health
Earlier last year we had long waiting lists for Osteopathy. We are pleased to announce that by the end of February we will have 3 Osteopaths working with us as Joe Dale will be joining us on Friday mornings. Joe will be our only male therapist (for now) so if you know of people who would prefer to be treated by a man please let them know. We will be ready to take bookings for him shortly. We can offer appointments with Jo Christophe (Tuesdays) and Anne Marie O'Sullivan (Wednesdays) now. Call 020 7739 2533 to book. We have just had a cancellation for Jo for Tues 1st Feb if you need an appointment quickly.
Nutritionalist
As well as virtual Homeopathy we can now offer virtual (phone or computer) access to a nutritionalist at Hoxton Health call 020 739 2533 to access this service.
Acupuncture at Hoxton Health
We are taking appointments for Acupuncture which can help with pain, mobility, stress, anxiety, giving up smoking. The focus is on you , not the illness, and all symptoms are seen in relation to each other. Treatment involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body to affect the flow of your body’s qi, or vital energy. Our acupuncturists are Esperanza Fernandez and Fatima Bailey. Call 020 7739 2533.
Return to Play Funding
We have just been awarded funding by Sport England to start 3 exercise sessions a week for 6 months. Watch this space for further details.

Through a series of workshops and in the spirit of alternative art education, participants will focus on creative diary making, encouraging discussion and a collaborative environment for those taking part. Our guiding principle throughout will be to find the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Covid measures
As you will be aware many of our clients and some of our staff are Clinically Vulnerable or Extremely Clinically Vulnerable so we are keeping our Covid measures in place despite new Government guidance
1. We are requesting that everyone does a lateral flow test on the day before coming to Hoxton Health - you can pick these up from your local chemist/pharmacy order online here for home delivery https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests or call 119.
2. We will be requesting that you put on a fresh mask - obtainable from hospital reception or ourselves when you visit us. If you are exempt please bring evidence of your exemption.
3. We are requesting that you sanitize your hands when entering our premises
4. We will keep the windows open at all times as ventilation is very important. Our premises are warm, but if you are having a massage please bring your own towel or covering as we are using disposable towels that are not very warm.
5. We can only have 2 people in the waiting room at any one time so if you bring a friend or carer please can they wait in the downstairs reception.
