Business Mentoring for Minehead Businesses
A REMINDER - PLACES STILL AVAILABLE
In the spring and summer of 2021 Fran Riseley of Riseley Consulting carried out a very successful business mentoring programme for 20 independent businesses in Minehead.
This involved two mentoring sessions with them in their business. Tailored action plans to improve sales and profitability were developed and then written up and sent to each business owner.
The second mentoring session involved following up progress of the action plan and then ways to move the business on again. The revised action plan was then written up and sent to the business owner. Ongoing support in the form of calls, emails, reviews of web sites, marketing collateral etc was also provided on an ad hoc basis.
This mentoring programme, which was funded by the Emergency Town Centre Recovery Fund from Somerset West and Taunton Council, was very well received and funding has recently been approved to extend the programme to a further 20 businesses in Minehead.
