Greetings Friends and Colleagues,
I want to let everyone know that I will be retiring this spring and leaving my job as executive director of ICUDDR. This has been a wonderful experience and I have enjoyed working with all of you so much. I miss seeing you in person and am sad to leave before having the opportunity to meet with you all again.
The great work of ICUDDR will continue. The board of directors is beginning a search for the new executive this week. I will stay in the position until the new executive is in place and will remain available on a consultation basis to help with the transition. We have a great team with Cary, Carly and Dianna who will make sure all of our work continues on.
It has been a blessing to me to be able to be a part of the work that you are doing to improve the lives of people all over the world. Thank-you for welcoming me into the family and for the opportunity to participate in this great effort.
