As we walk with God we should be growing in our responses to life's hardships. He didn't say we would have a carefree life, but he promised He would be with us - never hopeless - never alone - access never denied!
Jesus and His word inspires us to keep the faith in the valley. The valley is where the streams flow and life flourishes when we're willing to be pruned by the Lord - the great Gardener!
We're thankful in the midst of our crazy and somewhat chaotic lifestyle. God continually shows up in the unexpected, teaching us more about Himself along the way!
Our YWAM Ships team has grown by 2 couples this month and our roots are growing deeper here. That brings us to 10 adults and 7 kids at our core!
Last week we grew together, learning about one another in a 3-day "Vision Casting" conference. God showed up as well as we heard from Him about our future here as a ministry and also individually as He ministered to us!
We are believing for the next generation to hear the call and answer it! The call to reach the nations for His glory! To go to hard places, to surrender openhandedly, to love the least, the lost, the lonely and left-behind!
((SONS)) School of Navigation and Seamanship - for 3 months!
This spring - Israel and 2 other team members will be taking this SONS school of maritime training! This school is an opportunity from the YWAM Harpenden, England base (through Zoom) and this course is part of the College of Science and Technology from the University of the Nations. Our team is preparing for whatever lies ahead in our path here as our base in Corpus Christi becomes a "hub" for YWAM Ships along the Gulf Coast and the Caribbean and around the world!
