Welcome to the latest 4PLAS newsletter, for several months throughout the whole plastics industry, as we all well know, many materials have been in very tight supply with extremely long lead-times and often no supply at all for some materials. 
 
At 4PLAS we have managed to address virtually all of the material and supply issues we have faced by working closely with our strong supplier base, and in fact we have increased our overall business substantially throughout last year as a direct result of our short production lead-times and robust stock holding policy.
 
Two of the materials that have remained in very limited supply throughout the UK plastics Industry are FR ABS and FR PC/ABS, the shortages primarily caused by major production issues at key resin and flame retardant plants in the Far East, made even worse by the the ongoing shipping and logistic issues in the Far East. 
4PLAS have addressed this issue via new supply lines for the raw materials, and securing sufficient supplies of material for both current customers and new developments.  

Our 4LAC® FR ABS range includes High flow grades  & UL-94 FR V-0 at 1.5mm. Typical applications include control panels, sensors, electrical housings and battery cases.

Whilst our 4LOY® FR PC/ABS range includes UL -94 FR V-0 at 1.5mm, halogen free grades, with typical applications such as high voltage sockets, power outlets and consumer electronics such as game consoles as well as an ever growing range of EV battery and battery charger applications.
 
Current delivery lead-times for new 4LAC® FR and 4LOY® FR colour-compounded orders are typically  3-4 weeks maximum.
