Please be aware that the coronavirus pandemic may still be impacting parcel delivery to some countries from Australia. I send all parcels through Australia Post standard delivery from my state of Tasmania. You can check the current delivery time frame for your country at Australia Post - International Delivery Times.

This Month's Charity
For February I will be supporting International Women's Development Agency by donating 10% of the sale price of each doll sold. Check out their website to find out about all the wonderful work they do.

DIY Tips and Ideas
Some people have asked me about gluing the doll's shoes permanently in place so they do not get lost. This can easily be achieved with a small drop of superglue on the end of the legs before pushing the shoes on. If you change your mind and want them removed in the future, a gentle but firm twist will separate the shoes again without damaging them. The shoes and boots I make from silicone which will not bond extremely strongly with  glue, allowing them to come away again without breaking.

Family Life
I feel like I'm still on holiday since the summer school holidays haven't ended quite yet and I've been down at the beach nearly every day lately, sometimes with my daughters, sometimes on my own. It will be time to start getting ready for the school year though, especially since both children will be off to school this year!

We had had some great adventures over the last month - family catch-ups, camping trips, bushwalks, birthday parties, gardening and craft activities. Here's my daughter Connie with some cute little paper dolls she made out of an empty cereal box! I'm so proud when my kids come up with their own ideas and keep themselves busy - it can get messy though!

Feel free to write back and let me know what type of news items you would like to receive each month  - DIY tips, sales information, stories from buyers and their dolls, a day in the life of a doll crafter etc. I'd really appreciate your feedback!

All the best,
