LIFRC is partnering with other organizations to assess the interest in a food center on Lopez. We need your help to spread the word! Anyone who might be interested should complete the survey below to help us understand your needs.

Greetings, San Juan County Community!
Is your business, farm, or organization limited by access to infrastructure? The Lopez Food and Business Center project has designed a survey to learn what infrastructure and services our community needs. While the current effort is focused on Lopez, your feedback will support planning efforts to promote economic opportunities county-wide.
Three local food and community-benefit organizations are developing a plan for a food and business center that will house our operations:
In addition, this facility may offer a variety of other services to support our county’s farms, businesses and organizations, including (but not limited to):
- Storage space (dry, refrigerated and frozen)
- Commercial kitchen for value-add production and direct-to-consumer
- Business services, meeting space, co-working space, retail space
- Distribution and cross-docking (transitions between point A and point B) services
- Pop-up and event space, classroom or workshop space, retail space, and more

The survey should take 15 minutes to complete and will be “live” for two weeks, from February 1st to February 15th. This survey is possible to take on a handheld device, but it is easier to take on a larger screen. Please click the survey button below or visit the following link:
