Dear Members and Friends of Sylvania United Church of Christ:
 

It is again the third Thursday of the month, the day we normally gather for a Service of Taizé in the Chapel at 7 p.m.  We are not meeting in person for this service, but we can provide a service in the manner of Taizé by video. With the service leadership provided by Ann Lindsley and Jean Buckwell, music accompaniment by Sally Mossing, we have put together a YouTube video to allow us an opportunity to worship together. 

While you can view this video at anytime, we encourage you to "gather" at 7 p.m. this evening (our usual Taizé time) to experience this service as a community.  I encourage you to set up your own “worship” space if you’d like – colored cloth, lighted candles, artwork with spiritual meaning for you – in preparation for the worship service. 

Feel free to participate for the full service (about 30 minutes) or to view it in parts.  Use the video in a way that most meaningfully helps you in prayer and worship.
