During Sunday's event, we will have representatives from our neighborhood's groups and clubs on hand to give you information about the committees and clubs that bring our neighborhood together. And we hope you'll bring your own ideas for new clubs and organizations centered around your own interests! More opportunities to get neighbors together make for a stronger Oak Hills Community!
Will redistricting affect the Oak Hills neighborhood?

San Antonio’s redistricting advisory committee is working on updating the borders of council districts. The city council will vote on recommendations in June. Oak Hills is split between Districts 6 and 7 and there have been news reports of uniting our area under one district. We will briefly discuss this issue at our annual meeting and hope to have representatives from both City Council offices present for comment.

If you wish to get involved, the redistricting advisory committee will meet next at 6 p.m. on February 28 at:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas
10843 Gulfdale St.

Presentations from past meetings and a list of committee members can be found online at:

If you have any comments, you can email the OHCA Board at MyOakHills29@gmail.com or contact your council representative.

During our Annual Meeting on February 27, PAWS will be collecting Food, Pet Supplies, and monetary donations. You can bring items such as food, toys, blankets, towels, and treats to the meeting at Oak Hills Country Club, and PAWS volunteers will pick them up. PAWS helps our community's pets and the strays who are found in our neighborhood. They cover all expenses related to fostering pets and adopting them, so it's important that we continue to support their efforts through donations.
