H COURSE APPLICATIONS OPEN

We are delighted to announce that student applications for the UC Accelerated Pathways Program are currently open and will close on
Wednesday 9 March 2022.

This exciting learning opportunity is fully funded and is open to all Year 11 Tertiary students attending an ACT college. This year, courses are being offered in Anatomy and Physiology, Business Decision Making, Creative Writing, Politics and Democracy, and Psychology.

Virtual Work Experience
The VET and Careers team is glad to announce that we have recently acquired world-first, innovative Careers VR technology. Using Virtual Reality, you can now be virtually transported into the workplaces you're interested in. You'll feel like you are really there and gain insight into different careers.  Opportunities to use this will be made available to students in the next few weeks.

Ms Mac and Ms Slack have already tried it out - and LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

To provide financial support to a student enrolled full time in an environmental science course and to honour Ms. Singer’s contributions during a career spanning more than thirty years, to environmental protection throughout the Territory.

Brighte Women in Solar Scholarship

The Brighte Women in Solar Scholarship provides an opportunity for the personal and professional development of female trade professionals to further their experience and career development in the renewable energy sector.

Bond University Indigenous Medical Scholarship

Applications for 2022 Aspiring Scholars are now open

Year 12 students from states and territories other than
Victoria (including Year 13 New Zealand) are eligible.
Applications for the 2022 Aspiring Scholars community opened on
Tuesday 1 February 2022 for high-achieving secondary students in
their final year who live in Australia outside of Victoria or in
New Zealand.
By joining the Aspiring Scholars 2022 cohort, students will be
connected by their interest in moving to Melbourne to study at the
University of Melbourne and will have access to a host of exclusive
content as well as having a dedicated staff member from the
Onshore Recruitment team at their disposal for any questions and
support throughout the year.
Aspiring Scholars will also have the chance to win a trip to the
University of Melbourne’s 2022 Open Day for them and a parent/
guardian (dependent on travel restrictions).
Applications are open until Sunday 6 March 2022.

  • Future Students Enquiries – students can call or email the Future Students team (1800 620 032) during the week to discuss things ANU
  • Consult with me – should students prefer a more personalised consult to discuss their situation over a Zoom video call, they are welcome to book through my Calendly page: https://calendly.com/william-trinh-anu 
  • Deferring an ANU offer – students can defer for up to 12 months. This is done through the ANU Application portal once they’ve received their final offer
Early Entry/ANU Direct Application dates for 2022 are March 2nd to May 23rd.

UCAT Mock Exam Day 2022

The Mock Exam Day is a free online UCAT trial exam open
worldwide and sat by thousands. Get your mock UCAT score and rank yourself against your peers.

Date and Time:

Start the exam anytime on 27 February 2022.
2-hour online exam.

Students can access the exam by creating a free account here. All they need is an email to register. 

Explore Day 2022

If you’re in Year 10, 11 or 12, Explore Day is your chance to check out what life at Charles Sturt University is like – but with a twist!

You’ll get to look around our campuses, chat with students and get the lowdown from lecturers – there’s even a free lunch and a swag bag of goodies. But the best bit about Explore Day? You can get involved! Pick which interactive session/s interests you, book your spot and then get set for some hands-on learning that’s also a whole lot of fun.

Each of our six campuses will run different sessions on everything from arts to vet science. There’s lots for you to explore.

And, if you’re super keen on a particular course or career area, then an Explore Day spotlight session is for you!

A new pathway program into UNSW Engineering
We've launched a new pathway program into UNSW Engineering via the Girls in Engineering (GIE) Club - the GIE FEAS Program.

This program is for female-identifying high school students in Year 11 and 12 who will be applying for an eligible engineering degree at UNSW and are expecting an ATAR within the FEAS (Faculty of Engineering Admissions Scheme) eligibility range.

If you have students who want to make a difference in the world, have an interest in engineering, are keen to undertake a unique global engineering experience learning about sustainable and innovative technologies, and want to develop key skills that would be beneficial for the commencement of any engineering degree, this is the program for them!

The program is capped at 100 places and commences mid-February.

Starting in March 2022, these webinars:

  • introduce new family stories, and
  • contain practical exercises to help you get started.

Future Leaders Photography Prize 2022

The Future Leaders Photography Prize is designed to recognize talented young photographers.

Year 12 students are invited to submit digital photographic work (one photograph for each student). The work submitted can be on any theme. Submissions must include Student’s Name, School and Year Level.
