The Members Active Corner is an exclusive space for Genesis Centre members to recreate and or utilize Monday - Wednesday from 9am to 9pm.

The Members Active Corner is one of the new additions to the Genesis Centre drop-in exclusively for members. The M.A.C. has been fully operational since the 7th of February this year. 

This new space will be also utilized for exercise-specific classes in the near future. 

This new warm-up space is well equipped with heavy bags for some light boxing, dumbells, stationary bikes, yoga mats, and TRX training bands. 

Q: Can you only use this space for warming up?                                 
A: You can warm up to your own discretion at the M.A.C. 
 

Q: Will the space require you to bring your membership card?                
A: Yes, this space requires you to have a valid membership card and wristband as there are routine wristband checks in the facility, failure to show valid proof may result in denial of access to the Genesis Centre.
 

Q: Is there a limit on the time spent in the M.A.C?                                     
A: There is no time limit that can be spent in the M.A.C, but you can only access the space from 9 am to 9 pm on given days. 
 

Q: Do you have to bring your own Boxing Gloves?                                     
A: Yes, you may have to bring your own boxing gloves. Users may also purchase their own boxing gloves at the front desk for $50 per pair.
 

Q: Will you have to self-sanitize equipment when finished using equipment (i.e. dumbells)?

A: The equipment is sanitized daily by our custodial, but just like any of our recreation spaces within the facility, it would be courteous to clean and santize equipment after use.                                    

 

Q: How many members can occupy the M.A.C. at once?                         
A: The maximum occupancy of this space is 15 members at a given time.
