Scouting's Spring of ServiceScouting's Spring of Service is a new SHAC program that allows units to participate in service projects that benefit the local community.

Although Scouting's Spring of Service is replacing Scouting for Food, units may still conduct food drives and they now have a broader range of activities from which to choose. To participate, start by registering the project online. Afterwards, report the project and order patches.

Need project ideas? Check out this project list compiled by the Red Wolf's Scouting's Spring of Service Chair. The list is updated regularly so check it often.

Post about your project on social media using the hashtag #springofservice and tag the council, district, chartered organization, partner organizations, and organizations who are recipients of the service. Remember, do not tag Scouts or use the last name of Scouts in posts. Follow BSA internet safety guidelines.

This service campaign runs January 1 to April 30, 2022. For questions or more details, contact Brenda Wong.
