A Note from Pastor Pete:
Dear Partners in the Gospel,
Praise God for the great things He has done! Construction of our US headquarters is expected to be completed in a couple of months. This new building will hold the offices of Trinity Center for World Mission, a classroom, and rooms for visitors to stay overnight. But there is much more that causes us to rejoice:
Next week Rich Young and I will arrive in Africa where the work of TCWM is progressing on many fronts. We will be dedicating two new buildings at our headquarters in Kapchorwa, Uganda. The new library and administration building and the new sickbay will complete our campus.
We must pause and praise God for the great things He has done. These facilities will help provide the means to train Christian leaders on three levels: certificate, diploma, and bachelor’s degree. We open the clinic on February 28 and expect 1500 patients. This outreach is directed mainly to our Muslim neighbors.
In March and April, we will begin a new series of classes on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit. TCWM continues to grow! As Doug mentioned, we are soon purchasing five acres for a new campus in Tanzania.
As we expand our facilities and open new branches of TBI, our student body grows. Many of our students come after struggling the last two years with lockdowns, unemployment, and food shortages. This means our greatest need continues to be scholarships for our students. We have hundreds of students who desire to be trained for the Gospel ministry. Would you consider sponsoring a student training to be a pastor or missionary or church planter? The cost of training a pastor or missionary through TBI is $100 per month. This includes their food, study guides, housing, biblical discipleship, and mentoring by our teachers and staff. Most of our students need this scholarship in order to attend. $1,200 a year for seminary education is a great investment that will prepare servant leaders for a lifetime of ministry. If you are willing to provide a scholarship to a worthy student or for several students, you can join our team by going to our website, trinitycwm.org/donate.
Can you see the momentum that God has granted TCWM? We believe that 2022 will bring us the greatest opportunities in our history to make disciples and plant churches.
Let us praise and thank Jesus,
Pete Anderson, Missionary of TCWM Chancellor of Trinity Biblical Institute
