Our goal at OHA is to keep all students safe and healthy, comfortable, and respect different perspectives with these changes. We want to live our Zephyr Values of being open-minded and respectful at all times.
Here are some dinner discussions you may want to have with your child:
Everyone in our class has different reasons for wearing a mask or not wearing a mask. How can we show respect for everyone's decision?
How can I keep myself safe? What do I have control of?
Who can I go to at school if I am feeling uncomfortable or need help with something?
OHA Strategic Plan in Action
Celebration and Fun Highlight of the week.
We celebrate students being respectful and responsible with the Zephyr Wall of Fame and Good News Phone Calls.
Important - End of Day Pick Ups

The right lane is for loading and unloading only, the left lane is the no-stopping exit lane.

New WIN (What I Need) Groups
During our data days on Feb. 9-10, all teachers
spent time reviewing mid-year data and we have created WIN (What I Need) Groups to support students who may need additional time and practice in a subject area or extensions. If your child is in a consistent formal WIN group they will receive a letter in the next 3 weeks sharing the focus of their work. Each grade has 30 minutes allocated in their schedules in which all teachers and support staff work with small groups based on students' individual needs. If a student is not in a formal group, they will determine their individual needs and plan their time to practice these skills in which they would like to grow. This is a way students can begin to have learner agency in which they own their learning.
