Oh, and read it with your children, if possible.
Be sure to see our "Art" section which includes a page to inspire drawing and the "Food" section, with a recipe and other info about cooking with children!
We hope you will check them out!
Wow! Is it almost March already? The calendar is flying by and while the children and teachers remain so incredibly busy, I am looking forward to our events that will welcome you, our parents, back inside our walls and playground! The three springtime events that are such favorites are in the planning stages! Our Culture Fair will be on April 8th during the day, Open House on the late afternoon/evening of April 20 and, of course, our Auction on May 14th! Please mark your calendars!  More information will follow but those dates will be here before we know it! I am so excited about all of them and can’t wait to spend time with all of you! Meanwhile, I am enjoying your children and look forward to “doing art” with them for some fun auction projects. Always my absolute pleasure. Thanks, as always, for sharing your children with us and for all your kindness and support. Please take care of yourselves and be well.

~TODDLER~
We are LOVING the big work and growing friendships happening in the Toddler classroom right now! There is an amazing amount of new lessons, big learning, and language development going on. Angelica and I just love watching your children grow each day!

Here's another doodle page. Get a piece of paper and a pencil and see if you can draw some of the objects on the page. Or just get some inspiration and draw your own objects. You can click on it to see the full page or to print and color. Have fun!

from the Lower Elementary...

As we roll into 2022 at breakneck speed, we’d like to acknowledge our Level 3 scholars and a momentous rite of passage in their culminating year in Lower El- the “All About a U.S. State” research book. Finishing ahead of schedule for our April Annual Young Authors Fair, each author can legitimately claim to be the resident C.H.M.S. expert on the state they have studied. Their diligent research on the land, early history, modern people, economy, and tourist sites have yielded books both entertaining and informative. And if they did their job right, they will generate a genuine interest in their classmates to visit this state someday. The remainder of our students are also producing books (fiction and nonfiction) alike for the upcoming Y.A.F. Be sure to see our book display next month.

from the Upper Elementary:

We are excited to share with you one more step towards normalcy.  After two years, our 6th years were once again able to plan our traditional Valentine's party! And what a party it was! There were games, food, and Valentine exchanges. A big thank you to our amazing 6th years: Lily,  Eva, and Trevor.

Chinese Lanterns...

Thank you to Tori Keen, mom of Ryan and Emaily, for leading our class in a Chinese lantern craft in celebration of the Chinese New Year, Year of the Tiger. Thank you Tori! The class had a blast.
