Dharma Teacher TsonyWeekend Program on The Six Paramitas

Dates: Sat-Sun, Feb. 19-20, 10am-4pm Pacific time zone

Dharma Teacher: TSONY (filling in for Santa Barbara resident teacher Dawa Tarchin Phillips who had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances)

Description Excerpt: Through the practice of six transcendent qualities - Generosity, Ethics, Patience, Joyful Perseverance, Meditative Concentration, and Insight - known in Sanskrit as "Paramitas"- we cross from a state of dissatisfaction and delusion (Samsara) to the experience and realization of wellbeing and natural awakening.

  • Feb. 20, Third Sunday of the month, 10:30am-12noon Eastern and again at 10:30am-12noon Pacific: Dharma Teacher Khaydroup teaches her monthly class on The King of Prayers, A commentary on The Noble King of Prayers of Excellent Conduct. Next teachings hosted by Bodhi Path New York City (Eastern time) and Bodhi Path San Luis Obispo Center (Pacific Time). More information is available on Khaydroup's Google Document. These classes are offered on donation-basis, and no registration is required.
  • Feb. 26, Last Saturday of the month, 1:30-4:00pm Eastern: Dharma Teacher Tsony holds "Dharma Roadside Assistance," consisting of a talk based on a requested theme plus a questions & answers session. This program is offered on donation-basis, and no registration is required.
  • On Sundays, 10:30am-12noon Central: Group meditation is followed by teaching and discussion sessions with Dharma Teacher Rachel; details on how to connect online and how to make offerings are available on the web calendar of the Bodhi Path Chicago Center.
