Dear Fellow Clergy:
The ordination and consecration of the Very Rev. Daniel P. Richards as the Ninth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina is coming up quickly! There are three things I would like to share with you as we prepare to gather at Trinity Cathedral on Saturday, February 26th at 11:00 a.m. for the consecration:
- If you are planning on attending and have not yet registered, please do so ASAP. Please use the link below to register and, when you reach the registration page, please choose the “Upper South Carolina Clergy and Spouses” option. This will open a menu to register for events that are clergy-specific;
- Each parish and mission has been allocated five seats in the cathedral for the consecration and invitations have been sent to the Senior Wardens of each parish and mission. Please follow up with your Senior Wardens to make sure that they have received the invitation and have registered your delegation using the “Invited Guests” option. If not, please help them with the process. Please note that only one person should register your entire delegation – your delegates should not register individually;
- Finally, there is a general registration for anyone who would like to attend the consecration. Please let your congregations know that they can register to attend by using the same link and selecting “General Admission.”
