March Madness Book Tournament

Join us for a month-long tournament of books! Vote for your favorites to advance them to the next round each week, from the Sweet 16 to the Championship Round.Vote once per round in the Children, Teen and Adult brackets starting March 1st.

For every round that you cast a vote you can enter your name into our prize drawing. Vote in every round and you’ll get two extra entries. Send an email to LisaJ@cityofanacortes.org and let Lisa know you voted. After the winners are announced we will choose random prize winners who will each get a gift card and other literary goodies.

Creative Workshop: Book Art

Live Zoom Class

Join us for a creative workshop upcycling old book pages into something new. Librarian Leslie will guide us through making a simple book wreath and other fun projects. Supplies will be provided and the class will be hosted over Zoom. Registration required, space and supplies are limited.

Join us for a free LIVE concert featuring the Scott Lindenmuth Group at Buxton’s Music. Since 1980 the group has dedicated itself to writing and performing original music. Down Beat magazine proclaims the band "plays with a kind of quiet fire...instrumentally accomplished and unified in their direction." Sponsored by the Manieri Jazz and Swing Endowment.

Proof of vaccination is required for entry and masks must be worn at all times while in the venue.
