Pastor Rob and I recently dropped a podcast on the dragon motif in the book of Mark. It was scholarly and super cool at the same time. I want you to hear some of this on Sunday but through the genre of sermon.
In Psalm 18, the psalmist cries out to God as he is pulled under the water again, . . . he feels attacked by death itself. I am guessing we all feel this from time to time and we struggle to fight back this “monster.” Well, I want to show you that the Warrior King understands and fights for you and calls you to something incredible in so doing.
I hope you will be here on Sunday to see this Jesus as he conquers the darkness. Maybe read Psalm 18 and Mark 4:35ff before coming to prepare yourself for worship
