Cross off registering for the first CCI Symposium from your to-do list before the weekend hits! You’ll meet colleagues and potential collaborators from across Virginia at this invitation-only event for CCI-funded researchers, faculty and students. We hope to see you April 4-5 in Richmond, Virginia.
Be sure to invite students who are on your funded research/program teams to attend this free event and include their names on your registration form (there's a box for that).
Please review the symposium webpage, specifically for the agenda and session descriptions, before registering. Take advantage of the professional development training to help you land your next grant.
Paying for travel and lodging:
- We request that you use your CCI grant funds for your travel and lodging as well as the travel and lodging of your co-PIs and students.
- If travel was not specifically outlined in your project budget, or your research project or program has ended, or you no longer have travel funds but have remaining grant funds available, please contact John Delaney to review revised grant budget options or other funding options for lodging.
- The symposium is being held at the Omni Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. The room rate is $145 for a single room and $155 for a double room (students). Register via Eventbrite.
- Once we receive your registration, CCI will email you a link to the Omni Hotel where you can reserve rooms for you and your team. The hotel has blocked both single and double rooms for the event.
