Dear Kesher Torah Family –

We are pleased to welcome our dear friends Matt and Diane Marks this Shabbos at Kesher Torah. Not only will they be spending the weekend with us, they will be sponsoring a dairy kiddush as well.  So, please join us Saturday after services, around 11:30am, for a wonderful seated dairy meal.

MLB “Game 5”  is this Sunday February 20! This week, MLB Game 5 is in honor of the Flom family, Ezra, Nicole and Eva, who have moved from Sandy Springs to East Cobb. Ezra and Nicole have been members for a very long time and have been very helpful to our shul over the years. Most recently, Ezra has been the Secretary on our Kesher Torah board and we cannot overstate his contribution to the success of our Kesher Torah journey over the last few years. You all will be missed and we wish you the best!

Reminder that in just 2 weeks is the Atlanta Jewish Life Festival held Sunday February 27 from 11:00am–3:00pm at the Georgia Aquarium. Kesher Torah is pleased to be a sponsor and have a booth at this annual event. The Atlanta Jewish Life Festival is Atlanta’s largest single-day festival promoting and celebrating Jewish and Israeli arts, food, music and culture. We look forward to seeing you there and please stop by our booth and say hello.

As promised, Kesher Torah is adding more programs and events for our members. Some of our best programs come from member requests, so please continue to pass along those ideas! Always scroll to the end of the newsletter to make sure you are not missing an event flyer.

Have a wonderful Shabbos!

Greg

  • Anyone with any symptoms of illness should not come to Shul, regardless of whether or not they are vaccinated.
  • Individuals who are not vaccinated who have been exposed to a confirmed COVID case must quarantine at home and may not come to Shul until the quarantine is concluded.
  • Those in higher risk categories, including senior citizens and the immunocompromised, are strongly advised to check with their doctors frequently to get guidance based on current data and information available. It may be advisable for those in this category to avoid coming to shul at this time.
