Street Series #3 - this Friday 18 February at Calare. Starts are at Wiare Reserve.
There will be an Easy course of 2km, plus 4 levels of Scatter course, 10, 15, 20 and 25 controls. You plan your own course to find your chosen number of controls. Tom Carter is the course planner. The Easy course will be around the nearby wetlands. Starts are from 6 – 6.30 pm (please don’t be late) with control collection at 7.30pm sharp. Clover Hill Street event, 11 February
Our second event was well organised with interesting courses. A big thank you to Mitch Allen for planning the courses and putting out the controls. Fortunately, Mitch has excellent problem-solving skills. When he got to putting out control 40, it was not in the box with the others. Very quick thinking and a trip back to Belair and to his relief and ours, it was there waiting for him! Whew!
We had 34 participants with 1 newcomer (Pam Green) and several we had not seen for some time. It was good to see Ayako running again after breaking her collar bone several weeks ago. We decided to have a 25-point scatter to see who could find all the controls the quickest. Congratulations to all the course winners.
Thank you, Jean and Anna, for doing the registration and timing. Thanks to those who pre-entered via Eventor as this makes our job a whole lot simpler. We know that Eventor is not an easy program, but please try to use it. Most people paid into the Goldseekers account as shown in Eventor. Results
