Vi har fått en del frågor från våra kunder med anledning av ett mail som Intertek har skickat ut till organisationer som i dagsläget har ett certifikat utfärdat av SAI Global.

Om ni vill flytta certifieringarna till Intertek och ha Interteks revisorer, ta då kontakt med Intertek enligt mailinstruktionen.

Om ni vill fortsätta samarbetet med Valiguard AB´s team av revisorer och administratörer kommer vi att erbjuda er att i samband med nästa revision flytta certifieringen till Kiwa Certification AB (vårt moderbolag). Ta kontakt med oss om ni behöver ett sådant erbjudande omgående på info@valiguard.com, så ordnar vi det.

Om ni redan har signerat ett nytt avtal med Valiguard AB/Kiwa Certification AB kan ni lugnt luta er tillbaka och inte göra någonting alls (förutom att förbereda er för er revision).

De certifikat som utfärdats av SAI Global gäller fram till det expiry date som är skrivet på certifikatet, i enlighet med gällande regler för BRC och IFS (detta gäller även vid byte av certifieringsorgan). Certifikat för ISO-baserade system (t.ex. ISO/FSSC 22000) gäller i enlighet med SAI Globals rutiner för transfer, i regel minst 1 år från föregående revisionstillfälle.

We have received some questions from our customers in connection with an email that Intertek has sent out to organizations that currently have a certificate issued by SAI Global.

If you want to move the certifications to Intertek and have Intertek's auditors, please contact Intertek in accordance with the email instruction.

If you want to continue the cooperation with Valiguard AB's team of auditors and administrators, we will offer you to move the certification to Kiwa Certification AB (our parent company) in connection with the next audit. Please contact us if you need such an offer immediately at info@valiguard.com, and we will arrange it.

If you have already signed a new agreement with Valiguard AB/Kiwa Certification AB, you can calmly sit back and do nothing at all (except prepare for your audit).

The certificates issued by SAI Global are valid until the expiry date written on the certificate, in accordance with the applicable BRC and IFS rules (this also applies to the change of certification body). Certificates for ISO-based systems (e.g.ISO/FSSC 22000) are valid in accordance with SAI Global procedure for transfer, normally one year from previous audit.

Från 15 oktober 2021 går ägandeskapet av Valiguard AB över till Kiwa. Genom att vi nu blir en del av Kiwa säkerställer vi att vi även framledes kan erbjuda samtliga GFSI-certifieringar (BRC, IFS, FSSC) vi arbetar med idag, liksom ISO 9001, 14001, MSC/ASC och EKO-KRAV. Samgåendet innebär också att vi i samarbete med Kiwa kan erbjuda fler certifieringar, till exempel ISO 45001 (arbetsmiljö), ISO 50001 (energiledningssystem), Rainforest Alliance, Global G.A.P. och IP Sigill.

VAD HÄNDER NU?

Under en övergångsperiod kommer vi gradvis gå över till Kiwas ackrediteringar. Under övergångsperioden kommer vi arbete parallellt med Kiwa och SAI Global (vad gäller GFSI-certifieringar) och NSF (vad gäller MSC/ASC). 

VAD HÄNDER I FRAMTIDEN?

Valiguard kommer att erbjuda certifieringstjänster, alltså revisioner, under Kiwa. Alla certifikat utfärdade av nuvarande samarbetspartners (SAI Global, NSF) kommer att fortsätta gälla i enlighet med respektive certifieringssystems krav. 

För EKO-KRAV kommer vi från 1 januari 2022 uteslutande erbjuda dessa standarder under Kiwa:s ackreditering (SE-EKO-01). Certifikat utfärdade innan detta datum fortsätter att gälla giltighetstiden ut.

Samtliga kunder som idag har kontrakt med oss erbjuds att vid nästa revision gå över till ett Kiwa-certifikat. I övrigt arbetar vi på som tidigare, med samma revisorer och administrativ personal, och vi skulle bli väldigt glada om ni vill fortsätta att vara kunder hos oss. 

VARFÖR KIWA?

Kiwa är i dagsläget starka på lokala livsmedelssäkerhetsstandarder (t.ex. IP Sigill) och EKO-KRAV på den nordiska marknaden. Valiguards styrka ligger i de mer komplexa livsmedelssäkerhetsstandarderna, BRC, IFS och FSSC 22000.

Sammanslagningen innebär att vi kan använda resurser från våra båda företag, så att vi därigenom kan erbjuda en mer komplett produktportfölj gentemot våra kunder.

Kiwa är ett globalt företag med hög grad av självständighet för de enskilda länderna, vilket passar Valiguards arbetssätt bra. Våra företagskulturer matchar och möjliggör för Valiguard att bedriva verksamheten som vi gör idag. Det tror vi är gynnsamt för våra kunder såväl som för våra medarbetare.

Important info to Valiguard clients

From 15 October 2021, Valiguard AB will be solely owned by Kiwa. Being part of Kiwa enables Valiguard to continue to deliver the certification services we offer today; all GFSI schemes (BRC, IFS, FSSC), ISO 9001, 14001, MSC/ASC and EU-organic + KRAV. In addition, Valiguard is now able to offer certification to such standards and schemes as ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), ISO 50001 (energy management), Rainforest Alliance, Global G.A.P. and IP Sigill. 

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW?

There will be a transition period where Valiguard will be transitioning into Kiwa, and at the same time continue to support SAI Global and NSF in delivering audits that are booked for clients. 

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE?

Valiguard will now offer new certification services i.e. audits, under the Kiwa brand. All certificates issued with current partners i.e. SAI Global and NSF will be valid until the expiry date stated on the certificate or in accordance with the rules of the respective scheme.

Valiguard will soon be contacting all our clients to offer them a new contract for certification services which will be delivered under various Kiwa accreditations. We will continue to work as we do today, with the same auditors and administration team and we hope that you will join on our new journey with Kiwa.

WHY KIWA?

Kiwa Scandinavia has strength in delivering audits for the local food safety standards (e.g. IP Sigill) and EU-organic + KRAV within the Nordic market. They are able to deliver those audits with a strong group of Scandinavian auditors. Valiguard’s strength lies within delivering audits in highly complex schemes such as BRC, IFS and FSSC. 

Therefore, by using the resources of both companies we will be able to offer a more complete service to clients. 

Kiwa is a global certification body but with a high level of operational independence for each location, which fits the current model of Valiguard service delivery. Our “business cultures” match and this will enable Valiguard to execute the business activities as we do today. We believe this to be beneficial for our clients as well as our staff.
