Thank you to the Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club for awarding grit2 a $500 grant to provide parents and teens with mental wellness resources.  Thanks for all you do DGJWC!
grit2 in the Community
Grit2 will be volunteering at DGS on Feb 16 for “Paws and Relax”  All students are invited to slow down, recharge and connect in the DGS Library sponsored by the DGS Changemakers during all lunch periods.  Activities include therapy dogs, mindfulness activities, crafts and more!

ALDER GROVE COUNSELING
Alder Grove will be offering a free, monthly parent support group starting in January. This will be a judgment-free space to learn new skills and ways of thinking and to support each other in the challenges of being a parent.
Each session will be about an hour long and will include both information and discussion and will be led by a licensed therapist.​
They are hoping to be in person at their Downers Grove office. If interested, please email Melissa: melissa@aldergrovecounseling.com
