That’s A Wrap. AMEN!

“That’s a wrap” are great words to hear when a production company is working on a new TV show. It means we got what we need and we are done for the day with something that will be useful for audiences to see and hear. We couldn’t hear that phrase from the church this week as the TV production company was here but we’re glad they are wrapping up their work on Main Street here in Loganville on Friday! It’s been an adjustment in some ways for our preschool and weekly ministries but we’ve gotten to know some great people that were very appreciative to use our Family Life Center for their meals and a place to rest for a minute. I only wish they had the opportunity to meet you all that do a great job of welcoming people to our church. Maybe we will get that opportunity some day!

As Christians, we don’t go around saying “That’s a wrap” but we do say “AMEN!” It means we got what we need from God in that moment but we’re not done for the day! Whether it is something spoken, sung or an action done in our presence, “Amen” is a great response to God’s active work in our lives. As we move back to in person worship this Sunday, I hope we practice our “Amens” more often and know that God wants us to be useful for others to see and hear through our witness. Can I get an AMEN?

In Christ's Love,
Pastor Owen
