🐾 We've Missed You! 🐾

Well, we’re not proud to admit it but it's been over a year since we’ve sent out our regular monthly newsletter. For those of you that have missed seeing us in your inbox, I’ve got good news for you: we’re starting back up next month! :)

We’ll continue to highlight our amazing volunteers and available dogs, as well as provide a bunch of great information on what’s happening at the center and exciting events on the horizon.

At the end of every year, we send out an annual appeal letter that provides our yearly adoption statistics and a couple of our most inspiring success stories from the past year. We have attached the 2021 letter just in case you missed it and would like the opportunity to donate!

For those of you that have donated to Lakeshore PAWS in the past, we want to wholeheartedly thank you for your kindness. We do not receive any government funding and all operating costs are covered exclusively by donations and adoption income. We are grateful for every single dollar we receive and no contribution goes unnoticed.

Currently throughout the country, shelters are full, adoptions are down, and the number of dog owners surrendering their pets is at an all-time high. It’s times like these when we rely heavily on donations and amazing volunteers that spend countless hours of their time with dogs that have become long-term residents.

I encourage you to get involved in Lakeshore PAWS whether that be through donating, volunteering, or following us on Facebook and sharing our posts. We need your help to spread the word that shelter dogs make the best family members. Our doors are open and we’re ready and waiting to create some happy endings!
