1) JOIN US VIRTUALLY SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12, at DKG/AAUW ANNUAL BRUNCH
2) HELP RESTOCK THE FRCC PANTRY BY FEBRUARY 16
It will be an honor to have Dr. Don Haddad, Superintendent, with us to discuss education in St. Vrain Valley, and broadly throughout the state and nation.
Plan to ask questions, maybe specific to local issues, such as: expansion of the Innovation Initiative, the new pool at Silver Creek, 10 year projections, etc. For information you can download a copy of the latest district publication at https://magazine.svvsd.org.
Other questions that seem to fill our news feeds might include: book removals from public schools, teacher retention and recruitment, substitute teachers, diversity education, etc.
You will need to click on the link below before 9 am on Saturday, February 12, to join this virtual program. You will not be registering before Saturday morning, as we have often done, so use this link when you are ready to join in.
Our 4th Front Range Community College Food Pantry Collection will be open for your donations through Wednesday, February 16.
If you are purchasing nonperishable items, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels or items in microwaveable cups, like soups, grits/oatmeal, Spaghetti-o's, for delivery to Cheryle Kapsak or Marty Fisher, please remember to include a note indicating the amount of money you spent.
If you are donating money, send Vicki Moran a check, or click the Donate button below to use PayPal or your credit card. Funds will used to shop for meats and ready to eat/heat lunch items.
