As ISAPP marks its 20th year, our organization is kicking off the search for its next executive director. See below for the description of this position commencing June, 2023.

The ISAPP Students and Fellows Association (SFA) proudly announces a very promising applicant pool for the upcoming 2022 conference. Abstract submissions were received from students and fellows from 21 countries. Thorough review is currently underway by the SFA judging panel and successful applicants will receive notification of acceptance and travel awards by February 28th.

Bob Hutkins and Kelly Swanson give a scientific overview of synbiotics, including how to know whether a product meets the scientific criteria for synbiotic ingredients, and the difference between ‘complementary’ and ‘synergistic’ synbiotics.
 

Decoding a probiotic product label


In this blog post, Dr. Mary Ellen Sanders summarizes what to look for on a probiotic label. Although the labels of many products on the shelves lack important information, clear guidelines exist for what should be present on the label of a high-quality, substantiated product.
 

ISAPP begins its search for the next executive director
