Welcome to the March issue of the newsletter!

In this month's featured article FRH Members Thorsten Kruse and Joseph Elders take the floor to introduce Religioscape, a new charity that specialises in the recognition and digital mapping of religious heritage
.

We are proud to announce that FRH will “Run for Heritage” once again. The European Year of Youth is a unique opportunity for organisations to reach the younger generations and we are prepared to help them bring their local heritage to high schools, universities, and youth centres. Watch our promotional video, produced by FRH Member municipality of Orihuela, and read on to find out what's in it for you.

Another big announcement for the FRH network: the date for the FRH Biennial Conference is already set. The conference will be held from 20 to 22 April 2023 in Lund (Sweden). But before that, we have more activities coming up: check out our FRH Talks on heritage preservation with the Saint-Joseph church in Roubaix (France) as the protagonist.

If you have a project related to cultural tourism, don´t forget to check out the Destination of Sustainable Cultural Tourism Awards call. We remind you that this 21 March is the last day for applications to participate in the New European Bauhaus festival that will be held in June. And if you already completed an EU-funded project there is a chance to give it more visibility with the Horizon Impact Award.

On our Notice Board, we highlight the Fabric Synagogue of Timisoara, a historic building recently listed in the World Monuments Watch as a monument at risk, when there’s less than a year left for the city to become European Capital of Culture.

Due to the recent events, we invite you to take a tour on our Religiana section through some of the most significant religious landmarks in the city of Kyiv (Ukraine).

As always, we are happy to feature members in our newsletter, so feel free to submit articles, event notifications, or anything else you would like to share with the network.

FRH Executive Officer
