In 2014, I was a junior high youth director and I felt compelled to tell parents in our church about what I was seeing on “new” apps kids were using - Instagram, Snapchat, YouNow (cringe!), Periscope (gone!), and others.
What started as a small Facebook group led to the creation of Protect Young Eyes!
But there continues to be a void of digital citizenship curriculum that engages amazing students at Catholic and non-Catholic Christian schools with a tech-positive approach to using their devices in a way that honors God, themselves, and the people around them.
