We want to learn from your experiences

The National Centre for Farmer Health, in collaboration with Deakin University, is currently conducting two surveys to help inform research that will benefit our rural and remote communities.

Injury risk and safety behaviours of children on Victorian farms

A new study investigating how the behaviours, attitudes and lifestyles on Victorian farms are contributing to child farm-related injury. If you are a parent or guardian of a child aged 5-14 and would like to contribute to this research, please follow the link below or contact Jessie Adams via jessie.adams@wdhs.net

SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES
Returning to work after a stroke

Through this study, the NCFH and Deakin University seek to learn more about the experiences of people who have had a stroke while working within a rural or remote region, and who wanted to return to work after their stroke.

If you are a rural or remote Australia who had a stroke and has returned to work, we want to hear from you. Follow the link below for more information.
HAVE YOUR SAY
NCFH Research Assistant Jessie Adams talking about the COVID-19 local support hotline

Our role in the COVID-19 response

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a huge number of individuals, groups, and businesses stepped up to help in their local communities. We are proud to say that our NCFH team is among them, and we wanted to share some insight into the role we played in helping support our local community during the pandemic.

Most importantly we wanted to acknowledge and thank the amazing people who assisted our community during this time. From the drive-thru testing clinic to the vaccination clinic, it was incredible to see our community come together to deliver these services.
