Who’s new at Carer Support Dorset?
We have some friendly new faces who have joined our team. Carer Advisers; Rachael and Hannah and Community Engagement Officer, Tracy.
This is a strategic group consisting of carers, voluntary and community sector organisations, local authorities and health organisations who collaborate to shape services for carers in Dorset. They worked together to create a shared vision 5 years ago “valuing carers in Dorset” and have been working on supporting and monitoring progress made towards it. The Pan-Dorset Carers Steering Group is now reviewing and updating this strategic vision and they are looking to strengthen and increase their carer representation to help them with this project and beyond.
They are now looking to recruit carers of all ages, locations and experiences who can represent the views of carers, using their own life experience as well as representing the collective voice of carers. If you would like further information, please call us on 0800 368 8349 or click here.
