With focused topics across multiple downtown locations, this interactive event will share resources and information about Gardiner and collect feedback on how to support a thriving community. Explore all that downtown Gardiner has to offer and have your voice heard. Responses from the event will be used to discover initiatives the community values and supports. Your feedback will help Gardiner Main Street prioritize strategies and projects that align with its mission. If you live, work, shop, or play in Gardiner please join us!

Think About Gardiner is a great event for those new to Gardiner and unfamiliar with all that it has to offer. Individuals looking to meet new people and make more local connections will also benefit from the event. Long standing residents and active members of the community are also invited to attend and share their knowledge and feedback. Teens, and families are also encouraged to participate as the event seeks to find out how downtown Gardiner can welcome our younger generations. We'll also have raffle prizes for participants. We're looking forward to connecting with you downtown!

The Ballroom Thieves have become a quiet phenomenon. Following two EPs, the group released their full-length debut A Wolf in the Doorway in 2015. Between marathons of touring, 2016’s Deadeye would spawn a string of fan favorites. They claimed real estate on prime Spotify playlists (e.g. “Your Favorite Coffeehouse,” “Relax & Unwind,” “Morning Acoustic”) with “Bees” cracking 10 million streams on the platform. Along the way, they sold out shows and delivered standout performances at festivals such as Boston Calling and Newport Folk Festival, while landing features at NPR, Baeble Music, Boston Globe, Paste, Earmilk, and many others.

Maine Event Comedy presents one of New England's top comics, Mark Scalia, at Johnson Hall Theater. The show will also feature Krystal Dyer and JJ Jones. Raggamuffins is looking for a new owner who is interested in bringing this well established downtown Gardiner business into the future. Opened in 1993, Raggamuffins is the oldest consignment store in the area and is located in a large storefront directly across the street from Johnson Hall. With the purchase you will receive a turnkey business, all the fixtures and displays (including enough to start a second store in storage onsite), office, cleaning, security equipment, and inventory. The building owner has recently installed new LED lighting which has drastically reduced the electric bill.
