Dear Valencia Families,
Just a few important dates and announcements for you:
Support Valencia next Wednesday, March 9th! This includes walk-in, to-go, phone and online orders. Delivery is not included as they use a 3rd party platform. The event will run all day 11-8:30. You don't have to be local to participate -- anyone, anywhere can help make $$ for our school.
Who feels like burger? Be sure to tell them Valencia Elementary sent you!
20% of your order will go to Valencia Home and School Club! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN APTOS -- tell your friends and family!
A delicious fundraising program that is good for you, good for Valencia Elementary School, and good for our local foodshed.
In 2020, two local Santa Cruz families came together to develop EatLocal.farm, a new farmers' marketplace for the greater Monterey Bay area. The program offers healthy, fresh, locally-grown, and locally-made produce, meats, and artisanal food items and conveniently delivers them directly to customers' homes.
Now, in partnership with Valencia Elementary, EatLocal.farm will donate 5% of the value of every order from every customer who registers as a Valencia Elementary Fundraiser from now until the end of the school year. Enjoy good food while raising funds for Valencia! To get started, please click here, ves.eatlocal.farm

As you may have heard, Governor Newsom announced that with declining case rates and hospitalizations in California, Oregon and Washington, these states are moving together to update their masking guidance on March 12 and will collectively adopt new indoor mask policies moving from mask requirements to mask recommendations in schools. CDPH will be updating K-12 Schools Guidance to reflect this new mandate that becomes effective on March 12, 2022.
The District will continue to strongly recommend that students and staff members in K-12 settings continue to wear masks while indoors in an effort to support the health and safety of our educational community.
