Then Job answered the Lord: “I know that you can do all things and that no plan of yours can be ruined. Job 42:1–2 (NCV)
Greetings in the name of the One who brings history to His conclusion!!
We have had several delays to our return to Liberia. I have had one procedure and Carolyn has had two. Right now, Carolyn is recovering from gall bladder surgery and her surgeon cleared her for travel in about 3 weeks. So, we will be getting our stuff together AGAIN in preparation to our return. We are looking forward to two trips this year as the school will begin in the fall and we want to help with that, so we will go for a few months and return stateside for the summer only to get back to Liberia in the fall.
Meanwhile….
THE CLINIC
We celebrated the one-year anniversary of the clinic this past month. We were able to have our operations manager, Tommy King, sharing on the radio. We received favorable feedback from the community with the main request being that we would be able to be a 6 day a week clinic instead of the current 3. All in His time.
THE START OF SCHOOL THIS FALL
School curriculum has been obtained through the efforts of many, but particularly Hillsboro Christian Church. It is all packed and on its way to Liberia due to arrive within the next two months.
Other than painting and running electrical wiring the four classrooms are complete. Desks are ready, teachers will be sought, and the community is excited.
NEXT PROJECT
As funding comes in, we will be beginning block molding for an administration building. This building will house a registration area, several offices, and a teacher’s workstation and supply area.
There is still a great deal to do and your involvement has made it possible. We thank God for you!! It is great that nothing deters Him from doing what needs to be done to His glory. “No plan of His can be ruined.” Glad to serve.
