Updates and Changes at the Immigration Court; Anticipated Impact of ECAS electronic filing including practice pointers for using the system; WebEx and Adjudication Centers on the Miami Docket; Scheduling Orders, and Status Dockets. Communicating with clerks and support staff.  Tips for clients and attorneys for WebEx.
  • A discussion with:
    Immigration Judge, Honorable Lourdes A. Rodriguez de Jongh (Bio), retired immigration Judge, Honorable Denise Slavin (Bio), and Court Administrator Jorge Rodríguez, moderated by Randolph McGrorty (Bio), Executive Director of Catholic Legal Services.

Updates on Florida detention centers.  Making a prosecutorial discretion-type request with BTC, Krome, Glades, Baker, or Miramar.  Update on non-detained docket, Miramar and 333 S. Miami.  What are ERO’s enforcement priorities and how do we see them in action and practice in our clients’ cases, in the courtrooms, jails, and on the streets?

    Acting Field Office Director Garett Ripa (Bio), Acting Deputy Field Office Director Juan Agudelo (Bio), and Assistant Field Office Director Joel Mikelson (Bio),
