The music video I spoke of and asked for prayer for is finally here! Thank you so much for your support, encouragement and prayers throughout this process (where Cathy and I served as the Producers and principal storytellers). When Mark, the singer and ministry 'owner' of the band, and I agreed to pursuing such a video project it was way back on October 30, 2020. "Been a minute" as some say. Smile.
Mark said it well (with my parenthetical inserts & links for clarity) -
"We were so astounded by the work of the translators and support role workers there (when we visited in October 2016) that we decided to partner with them to help further the progress of biblical translation worldwide. That has resulted in the realization of this music video project - which is largely due to the fruit of that relationship (that Mark and I had/have). This song by Avion Blackman (Mark's wife), “More Than You Know”, from her 2020 “Fly” album fits perfectly with the theme of desperation that is found when the Word of God doesn’t exist in your own language. Very soon Cathy and I will be sharing with you what we learned last month in Orlando while at Wycliffe USA's headquarters - we may even use video again but this time with Cathy (and maybe me, but she's nicer to look at anyway, smile-wink).

PRAYER & PRAISE Points:
- PRAISE that the music video is now out and "live" to the world!
- PRAY that God would utilize it as a useful tool for His purposes alone.
- PRAISE that we had a great time in Orlando meeting colleagues and learning more about our new roles!
- PRAY we'd be able to effectively communicate the work and need that remains in Bible translation to others in person and via various forms of communication (including a music video!)
- PRAY God would continue to meet our needs as He always has and that we'd be to 100% partnership level by our deadline date of May 1.
- PRAY for Ukraine - for peace to prevail, for comfort and provision to the many whose lives are in turmoil and pray for empowerment for local churches and strength to serve their congregants and others in need and
- PRAY for the Ukrainian Sign Language team working to bring the hope of the gospel to the Deaf in Ukraine.
