From the North Norfolk Coast to the frozen Antarctic.

Coastline

Much of Dafila's work is inspired by the North Norfolk coast where she visits to study the salt marshes, coastline and it's wildlife.

Fenland

Currently, Dafila's work features abstracted landscapes of her favourite places on the edge of the Fens where she enjoys sketching the birds in a nearby wetland.

Marshland

As well as fenland, Dafila's work features abstracted landscapes of marshland where she sketches the forms and colours of this unique place, to later develop into finished paintings back in her studio.

Countryside

Between coastlines and fenlands, Dafila also takes time to paint the countryside, this is where you will find a wider range of colours and shapes as she shows the changing seasons across the fields.

Antarctic

Dafila has been able to join tours to the Antarctic on two occasions, most recently on the Ross Sea Voyage in February 2020, where she was able to observe and record the ever-changing landscapes, wildlife and ice formations. On her return, Dafila spent three months painting from her sketches and memories of her trip to the Antarctic, which have subsequently featured in recent exhibitions across the UK. We are pleased to be able to show a selection of her paintings from this tour.
